Definitely one of the worse teachers I've had to abide by. It is clear that he does not care about his students, and just does what is required.
Helpful? No. If a student asks him for clarity on a subject, he will just mock you for not knowing it. Example, "well you should have known that if you paid attention".
Clear? No. Very often after handing any work in, you will find yourself losing marks on what you did not know had to be done simply because if he mentioned it, it was not clear enough.
100% Best teacher ever! Teaches you everything you want to know! He will encourage you to pursue a a good path. He is like the father every young construction worker ever wanted.
I've taken just about all the classes he teaches and if you follow what he teaches you'll do great and he'll push you do do better, but if you are rude and don't do what he assigns don't expect him to be nice to you. He is also really cheap when it comes to the woodworking class and hates it when I plot more than once
Knows his subject area well. If your willing to work hard you will love him.
I'm a visa student that came to Alexander Mackenzie 3 years ago. I had Mr. Fabrikis for 4 classes. He is one of the few teachers at this school that actually prepares you for University. He pushes you hard to get the best out of you. No easy marks or days off. if you work hard you'll like him as he marks fair. if your a cheater you wont like him because he wont let you get away with things.
Tough at times but gets the best out of you.
He's not the best but honestly, he isn't that bad of a teacher. I did learn quite a bit in his class
Goes through the tutorials super fast and expects you to know everything. He cant teach, he seems nice at first but then he is completely unreasonable the rest of the year.
He starts off the first couple weeks as a nice teacher and then you realize he lured you in to hell. This teacher teaches from textbooks and prints out tutorials (For example for AutoCad), rather then actually closing the book and teaching from his knowledge and real life situations. He will never explain to you anything only thing he says when you ask something is; "help me, help you understand" which pretty much meant get lost. He never goes around helping students, only does his own stuff.
Bad teacher all around. Marks assignments and gives no clear feedback just pulls a mark out of the sky (it seems). Very strict with a super short fuse and no understanding of students promblems. Tries to reinforce the rules with a smirk on his face. Gets very agrigated when referee to as boss or sir as despite my best efforts to be recpectful he somehow saw this as sarcasm.
He knows his stuff. He's a little strict on the rules but if you want to an Architect or Engineer take his courses.
He yells too much at the students he doesn't like, gives no clear instructions and just says to use a textbook all class. One of the worst teachers I have ever had in all of my years at school.
LOL. by the end you end up loving him, just cause its him.
He will NOT cut you any slack when it comes to due dates. A tough marker too. He relies on tutorials and textbooks way too much... AND, he answers questions with a question back. Not very helpful that way, gets annoying.
