Ms. Hunte is a decent teacher. But, she goes way off topic a lot of times for such petty things. Also, she is knowledgeable, but she needs to make sure that everyone understands the lesson. Honestly she would be better as a principal than a teacher.
she was left at the alter so like, she probably has issues with attendance. Don't ditch her class
Horrible teacher, extremely boring, good luck if you have her.
I take back what I posted on here in September 2016, this woman decided to mark TWO major unit tests TWO days before the final exam, and that dropped everyone's mark 4-10 percent! How can she do that? How are we supposed to get into university? She should've marked them way earlier in the semester. Honestly, if you have her in the future, drop her class. It's not worth it. This is coming from someone who actually used to like her. She is jeopardizing everyone's future....
Currently in university and still looking back to the fact that her Grade 11 Biology class was harder than any biology courses I've taken so far. Her grading scheme is non-sense and she comes off as a teacher who doesn't want her students to succeed. In grade 12, everyone dropped her class until there were 4 people left... Its not the students who can't pull high marks, its her unwillingness to give them.
One of the best teachers I've ever had. I know she's a hard marker, but she's also a very good teacher and people fail to see that. I had her for Grade 11 biology and I have her again for Grade 12 biology, she's amazing and also a very fun person to talk to on a personal level. One of the most genuine teacher ever.
worst teacher, if you want to have anything to do with sciences, stay away from her
Marking is very strict and you gain nothing out of being in her class.
One wants to have a good mark in the final exam and if you are not graded on your knowledge, but instead marks are deducted or marked wrong if the arrows are not straight or if your answered is elaborate
Scared at first sight but she was cool after a few months.
She was a good teacher. She always provided us with useful notes and it was easy to understand her. However, her tests were sooo hard and she should stop marking so hard on English. I understand that communication is part of our mark, but it's not english class, its biology class.
If you guys get ms hunte, then just drop the course and dip. People who had 90's in science got like a fking 60 with her. Go get a job at McDonald's or some thing cuz that would be better for your future than this. Drop out of school and become a rapper or something cuz no way your future gonna be bright if she your teacher. If yall don't listen to this then yall were dropped as a baby or something cuz you have no sense.
she is a good teacher
A stickler for rules, but if you want to learn, she is the best - if not only - option at this school for Biology. She is amazingly clear and a very GOOD teacher, if not the best. She can be a bit cruel sometimes, but it is understandable, as she's trying to turn slackers into A-Students. Probably one of the few teachers I'm proud of having. Her communication rubric is ingenious, a good way to make sure students clean up their grammar (which can be really bad sometimes). Keep up the good work!
It was very interesting to have her as a teacher. She really knew her stuff- I think if she was less strict, acted a bit more free with the students, and not so hard on communication marks, I would've enjoyed her class much more.
Just drop the course and dip set. I had her for bio, and it's so not worth it. Rather focus on other sensible teachers courses then hers! Also she marks communication section from all over your test or exam. Meaning if a question was 5 marks, she will cut of marks from your comm section and cut of marks from knowledge section for having poor grammar. Also please don't take this lightly, she really is hard! Just drop and go to night, private or summer. If you lucky go to other semester bio.FcKBTH
She is a really nice teacher. She is the person of her rules which makes her hard for some students because you CAN'T joke around in her class. She really cares about grammer in her answers.Although
Ms. Hunte is an awesome Teacher but a hard marker sometimes
Ms. Hunte is a great teacher, she was always nice to me. you people are all just hating on her because she is a hard marker. I actually like ms.hunte and I enjoyed being in her class last year :) than
i didnt work that hard in her class and i still ended up with over an 85
she hates me gives everyone a hard test and the nest day a supply comes in and explains what was on the test
shes very gud at explaining and teaching but you wouldd do so bad in her class because of her hard tests :(
very nice teacher nd can help out with notes but stares at u lik no tmmow
honestly, all she did was put up overheads of notes that were pages long (full of useless info) and made us copy it while she talked about irrelevent things like the discovery channel and her life :|
when i was in grade 11/12, i thought she was a really difficult teacher who wasn't preparing us but honestly, i think she has prepared us for univ. good teacher. difficult test but good overall:D
Ms Hunte is a really gud teacher. she prepares u for tests and quizzes and her notes r really helpful but even after studying day and night u will get 60s in her class cauz her tests r soo hard
all you guys are haters! Like real talk Ms.Hunte is a good teacher who prepares you for the real world and the reality of the university and college teachers you MAY meet. So real talk shes easy!
A rlly gud teacher...She tells us 2 read our stuff cuz a few years later no one's gonna come after u 2 tell u 2 study n make notes 4 u...She explains rlly clearly when a question is PUT UP...
doesn't explain anything properly. She hasn't even handed back my unit 1 test, and it's almost exams!!!!
Very confusing, I think she didn't want to be a teacher and thats why she does so little to help students do well
very confusing it seems like she doesn't know the material
she was nice!! She gives lots of real life examples that help her students to understand in relation to their own life...She's a really good teacher and I learned lots in her class
sometimes confusing..and we get so many notes in bio
