I can't say I remember too much, considering it's been over 7 years since I've graduated out of the school, but I think it's safe to say that Mrs. Hartwick was one of the best teachers I've had throughout all my school years. She was a very kind and fun teacher. I was able to learn more working at a great pace, and despite my disinterest in reading I did enjoy reading quite a few books in her classroom. Thank you for those wonderful years! Sorry I didn't come and visit like I said I would.
In grade 6 for most of the year I unknowingly had a thyroid problem leaving me fatigued in class, irritable, and overall I was probably a huge pain. Ms. Hartwick always took time to talk to me one on one, always had the patience to explain things to me again if I needed it, and she never gave up on helping me. She's a lovely, genuine, and very smart lady. I'm glad a had her as a teacher at a rough point in my life.
