Excellent teacher! Mr. Hart made science an enjoyable subject for me (which wasn't the case prior in elementary), and ended up learning a great deal; the in-class experiments were the best part of it all. He's also very good with the guitar! :)
Sometimes gives classes tests with work he's never taught us. Once gave us a practice test that became equivalent to 3% of the actual test. His everyday quizzes are a pain and rarely help because they're usually difficult, counted towards marks, & returned to the student after over week. He treats student like they were incompetent and just doesn't care. He rather plays his guitar than help a student. As a student, I was happy to hear that he was retiring because his teaching style is terrible.
Runs on the same script every lesson. Looks up in his raggety binder problems. He just posts them on the board without explaining them. You ask him to work out another problem he gets a little annoyed but doesn't do it for you. Gives you a vague explanation. Doesn't work it out for you.
Good teacher, esp. in Physics. Challenging, yes, but that's what education is about. Preferred quality of work over pesky bureaucratic nonsense (folder type, font-size, due date, etc.), which was great.
Brillaint teacher, great person in general. Course was very enjoyable, and looking forward to next year. Very clear, and extremely knowledgeable.
