Mr. Keast was my English teacher in the late 80s and early 90s (grad '92!). His greatness is evidenced to me even today as I sit here in my office listening to U2's 'With or Without You' (I can't live). U2's lyrics are paradoxical. It was Mr. Keast that introduced us to the nature of paradox. And he used contemporary examples that have stuck with me for decades now.
Mr. Keast was one of the best teachers I've ever had, I loved his class! Ya grade 8 Humanities!!!
didnt have you as a teacher but i heard you are an unbelievable teacher just like mrs. mulder. enjoy your retirement.
It's too bad he retired. Great at teaching. If you paid attention and kept up, it made this a very valueable class.
Great teacher, too bad he retired. He put a lot of time into preparing his lessons. However, if you got on his bad side, he'd ruin your year.
Mr. Keast ROCKS. I only got him for one year (grade 8 HUM) then he retired :( COME BACK PLZZZZ I remember his wonderful 'Birth of Venus' story so well :)
Can ruin your year, however he can also make it awesome. Depends on how you look at it. Tough teacher, but really puts effort into making classes interesting. Too bad he's retired!
He is an awesome person, but he didn't like to teach according to the curriculum. It doesn't help you in English classes down the road.
He was kinda odd. Didn't really look forward to English class that year.
Mr. Keast ROCKS. I'm so glad I got to have him as a teacher again before he retired, even though i failed.
If it weren't for one of his english courses, my grammar wouldn't have beeen good enough for college. One of the few non burn-outs at Argyle.
Humaities 10 was a great class. Mr. Keast was so inspiring. Great guy.
