Having taken AP this year with him, i have to say it was the most challenging experience of my life. That being said, Doerkson is the smartest teacher at the school, he emphasizes formal proofs over the informal garbage that other teachers use. Students who rise to the challenge will do well. His course requires more work than any other, the sooner students realize this the better they will do.
Good overall, but he works through simple examples slowly and the difficult ones quickly (the wrong way 'round).
great teacher, helps students in his wife's class by making tests easier :D
The overall principal gets across fine, he tests you on questions you have never seen before, not even in homework. So then he asks you to figure them out on tests under time constraints...
Hes a good teahcer and definelty trys a lot, but I wish he would give us questions regarding the lesson we learn in class and let us do boardwork, as I think we learn best this way
Not being good at math, and taking AP Calc, it was due to his generosity that I survived this year. Great teacher, just needs to pay more attention to areas which may not be ashard
SLOW PACED REPETITIVE CLASS. perfect teacher for grade 1. Yet he prepares you completely for AP Calc. That makes up for it i guess. Go in for extra help and you always get food :D
good teacher, great guy. I guess he doesnt realize that some people need help with stuff that seems REALLY easy and understandable to himself.
Best math teacher ever. I finally understand math this year. Super guy and great badminton player.
His class is very boring... and slow moving... CAN YOU GO A BIT FASTER?
A very nice guy personally, but often writes unfair tests of material not covered in class.
