Worst teacher at the school easily, doesn't care if your failing his course, and doesn't want to help you at all. When explaining his theory he puts problems on the board and expects us to know them just by seeing the problem. And he always jokes around to the class by saying "My dawg can play better then you".... He has no respect for the students, and no one respects him... he's accent is also annoying. He should quit being a teacher and just be a musician because he can play the sax well.

He's sometimes annoying, especially when other people are talking and so are you and he just singles you out cause everyone else are a bunch of teachers pets. He's a good musician and picks cool pieces (not often). I like Mr.Wade-West better tho

Mr. Martin should actually be called the devil hes worse than useless to students and plays favorites like its a joke. He should be fired. Just look at the reviews other people have given. Rather than put up with his antics Gary martin should go.

he's a very talented Jazz musician and he's a great 1 on 1 teacher if you want to learn jazz. If you don't really like jazz music or you don't want to dedicate a lot of time into your instrument then

By far the worst teacher I have ever had. A great musician but a terrible teacher. Avoid his class like the plague unless you like theory without explanation (or the plague.)
