Fr. Zinger was without question, a shining example of what a priest should be and perhaps more importantly, what it means to be a man of faith in contemporary culture. He was a man without moral compromise and every student who crossed his path owes him a profound sense of gratitude. I will be forever grateful for his influence on me. RIP Fr. Zinger and please pray for us!
Fr. Zinger will be missed! Certainly the most memorable and best teacher I ever had at St. Mike's (and there were a lot of good ones!). Quick, with a razor sharp wit, but also with a kind heart. He truly wanted to mold young boys into men and spent his time effortlessly giving to the church, and to his students. I'll miss our afternoon dual piano sessions Fr. Zinger - as he taught us in grade 10 latin - Requiescat in Pace
Father Zinger taught me in the 1970's and today we have lost the most Saintly person I have ever known. His compassion and most thoughtful answers to any questions one had will always be remembered. Heaven is better today and I will take the lessons of charity taught by Cecil the rest of my journey. For all of those who had the pleasure of being in his classroom they know how valuable he was to the education at SMC. He was a CLASSIC for sure. RIP Cecil
He was amazing. One of the best ppl on this earth u can encounter sadly, today October 27th 2017 Fthr. Cecil Zinger passed away after a struggle with sickness. 🙏🏾
Father Zinger is probably the best person to have a spiritual discussion, or give advice to your personal problems ever. He was also a great teacher, and made fun of Neckbeard so it was fun

By far the greatest human being to grace the yellow bricked halls! One of the true reasons we come in as boys and leave as men.
A LIVING LEDGEND. SPOKEN TO HIM A COUPLE TIMES, GREAT MAN.
