Ms. Benoit is a very nice woman. She helps me catch up on my work all the time and shes cool. She has her reasons for the way she is, but other than that I like her ! :)
Far smarter than most high school teachers. Should be teaching in college. Poorer students willnot appreciate her as she works best with quite bright students. High I.Q type.
I've complained about her teaching methods on this forum a couple of times before, but recent events have made me realize how important it is to have a teacher like her. She's probably older than most teachers, but is extremely sharp. She knows her subject inside and out and knows everything that's going on around her. She knows how to handle the difficult students on her own, she's always there to help us, and I've found that her teaching methods have been working for me a lot better this year
All she does is stare and smile at her computer screen the whole class. I didn't learn much that year.
RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN! or get a tutor immediately. SIT AT THE FRONT AND SPEAK TO NO ONE IF YOU DECIDE TO STAY, or else you will miss the slightest bit of information that could possibly be helpful.
you basically have to teach the course to yourself.... she's a nice as a person but doesn't know how to teach. The class is basically a free-for-all and if you don't pay attention you're screwed.
The worst teacher I have ever had. If she winds up on your timetable, do the best you can to switch out, or you are in for a confusing and unproductive year.
i ha her last year for math... i passed by 1!!! i normally have a b average in math and then i was put in her class. she's obsessed with her computer machine thing... always talking to it and she does NOT help you at all. she just tells you to copy what you see and doesn't take her time to help you! i disliked her
Really knows her math but it hard to follow. Overhead laptop thing gets confusing and messy. But if you actually go up to her and ask the question yourself she will explain it to you very well. Work's not too hard so even though she gets confusing you should be able to figure it out on your own pretty quickly.
Shes very easy lets you get away with almost anything, and can't teach to save her life. My mum taught me everything I learned in that class. I did pass with a 97 though so I can't really complain. oh and if you ever ask her a question she answers around it
I was told she was awful, but I actually don't mind her. She's pretty nice, and lets you redo almost anything which is very helpful. One issue is ehr marking scheme, however - she'll deduct marks for the randomest things.
She is the best math teacher I have ever had. She is personal, which motivates me, and she explains things really well if you listen. She is very helpful if you dont understand and she is AWESOME!
a wonderful person!! ask lots of questions, seek extra help when you need it, and you will succeed! she's really a great person!!
gives us homework on our lesson before teaching it, contradicts herself, argues with herself, ignores questions she cant answer, very bad teaching method, just a bad teacher
She is nice and has some good stories, but having her twice made me realize that I hate math and will never take it again.. soo boring and she doesn't explain anything very well
She's nice and all, but honestly there's no way she can teach properly. Man, I sure hope that I won't have her next year.
she's a nice person. always there at lunch if you need help. her teaching methods arent that great. the overhead labtop thing gets messy/confusing. her explanations are long and dont get you anywhere.
great person. horrible teacher. if you're landed with her, just be ready to teach yourself.
i never had her as a teacher but i got extra help from her at lunch and in the mornings all the time because she is always there, dedication to a T it was amazing to have her help me!
She's a funny person, but I disagree with her teaching methods, and she gives out extremely easy homework, just about 3 hours worth, if you take the timw to do it well.
Her system is that she gives us h/w and then she marks it at the begining of every class instead of devoting a period to TEACHING us lessons, instead we copy from an overhead. She is very nice though...
she tells us answers. explains maybe 1/100. contradicts herself every second. and talks to herself. she's REALLY nice. but you have to figure everything out for yourself. atleast i ended up with a 92%
Benoit was a great teacher. Anyone who says otherwise just didnt try hard enough...
Very unclear and confusing, and math is my strongest subject. Always late for class
shez intelligent but definetly cant xplain the formula n theories properly..i had her for gr 9 math..n she left n we had vandenberg..made corny jokez ugh...
She's a good teacher, I find. But that might be because I don't talk all of the time..
She's a really good teacher, very clear and helpful. Math class was actually fun with her! What can I say? She's a great person and teacher.
She is obviously intelligent, but is unable to explain concepts or theories. Her tests are ridiculous, and my calculus mark was 20% lower than grade 11 math
she always leaves out the most impportant parts... and the bat belt has to go
Algebra Geormetry is such a hard class to teach I think she does a really good job and she's very caring
she takes whatever time is needed to help you understand
she's really nice, really understanding. she cares about her students.
