hes amazing and is great when needed help in class BEST SUB EVER!!!!
I personally loved being in his class. He was really fun, and I have no idea why people complain about him. Half of the people that DO complain are just too lazy to do their homework and conquer mathematics. To blame him is just plain wrong. If they want to do well, they have to put in their own effort too
Instead of delivering praise for those that understand and encouragement to the rest, he is indifferent to those that understand key concepts and techniques and scorns those who do not. Will not help.
I thought he was good at making me understand math, but The Chronicles of Magna, and Numberobia, come on it's grade 10.
i suck at math and really am hopeless but this guy worked so hard to try and help me understand. As long as you show him your really trying, hes not a bad guy. He really loves math.
this guy's great. full of awesome jokes and is pretty helpful.
Who has ever heard of math skits and math raps anyway?!?!? that is seriously the dumbest project I've ever heard of
I guess that E slot this year (06/07) wore him down. He started slowing down his lessons and asking if any of us needed any help.
Kirichenko is unable to understand that there are many people (unlike himself) who are mathematically inept, and won't "get it" the first time. If a student asks a question that indicates they missed even a small part of what he has taught, he overreacts, frustrates/upsets his students, and over the course of the year loses the respect of his class. Until he learns that a request to repeat part of his lesson should not be interpreted as an insult, the pattern described above will continue indefinately.
Mr.k is a good teacher, he gives great notes...however, he should stop giving the, why are you in this course speech and make more time for his students. and, you need to stop singling out students and making them feel insignificant and stupid, you always say dont hesitate to ask a question, but when somebody does, you freak out infront of the class and make them feel stupid. you are a good math teacher, but your attitude needs to improve.
He is extremely difficult to learn from. Not very clear on what we should do. If you actually ask for help he singles you out and makes you feel completly stupid. Lets just say i used to like math.
if your smart he likes you.. i mean me!! chess rocks KUDOS to that
To be honest, yes, he isn't an easy teacher, but if the people that do poor in his class spent less time complaining about him and more time working on what needs to get done, they'd probably find his class isn't that bad. Mr. Kirichenko picks favourites, and you just need to learn to get on his good side. I did it, I'm sure everyone else can.
Okay, he's a pumpkin, all he asks is that you work hard. If you can't handle it, drop pre-cal.
He never really explained anything to my class, just gave us stuff and told ust to do it.
Mr. K is a SCHMUCK. He tells you he knows how to do math, then doesn't tell you how. If asked for help, he will do everything in his power to be little you
You know, lots of people seem to have a problem with him, but maybe it's becuase you're too picky. He's a great guy who clearly loves his subject a ton.
"Good mathematician but can't teach." Sums it up really well.
A truly enthusiastic teacher. Extremely intelligent! I didn't really like him at the beginning of the year, but I definitely warmed up to him. Way to go!
Had good intentions, unfortunately those were tainted by a short fuse.
why does everyone hate him? me and Kevin W. Love him, he's a good guy
he is mean. he knows hsi stuff but if you don't know what hes taking about to hi
He makes you feel dumb and akward when you want to ask a question
makes u feel dumb, refuses to help when asked, and i hate Q-toes or whatever
he hates me, he always is nice to everyone, but he actually hates me,
One of the smartest men i have ever met, cares about his student's, very helpful
