Mr. Hay was one of my favourite teachers. He inspired me to achieve my dreams and showed me that hard work was often worth the effort. I have nothing but the deepest respect for Mr. Hay.
Hay is the best music teacher there could ever be. He has helped me so much in Jazz band am I am honored to be under his conducting!
He may not teach theory, but he knows technique and tone. He's the greatest thing to happen to the ARSB (Mrs. Monk a close second). There's a reason why the AWEC music room has his name on it...
He's a good teacher and knows what he's doing but he has to add more theory into the curriculum. Students are graduating grade 12 music with 99% and know nothing about theory.
Mr. Hay is quite possibly my favorite teacher of all time. If you have a love for music and want to learn to play, take the course, yet if you want to learn theory you're SOL.
Mr. Hay is one of the best music teachers out there. But i would like to learn more in his classes (theory) and play more as well.
Mr Hay is very good, the only thing I find is that you seem to play less and less music every year in class, more doing nothing, but mr hay knows what hes doing
Mr Hay rocks! I am so proud to be one of his students! And I hope he gets to read this! U ROCK MR HAY!
Mr. Hay is awsomeotive. Even though I stopped taking music went I went to grade 9. I had him in grade 6 and 8.
When I look back at my years in High School, the thing that stands out first was my involvement in the Annapolis Royal School Bands. Mr Hay was a big part.
He's one of the best in teaching music, he does a beautiful job with all the students who had him.
One of the teacher I remember Most from my high school days
