Mme. Lin is one of the most amazing teachers many students know. She is willing to give lots of extra help, and is crystal clear with her instructions. It is really simple to get a good mark if you can take time to study and listen to her lessons. Her instructions match her marking rubrics nearly exactly, and marks taken off/added are all consistent for everybody. Is willing to change and remark stuff if the grade doesn't match the student's understanding. 8/8 very gr8 would r8 again.
My daughter came out of her class knowing less than she did before. Elaine has straight out told my child there is no point of her being in her class. Shame on her.
One of the nicest teachers I've actually had. She's strict but then you actually learn in her class, and if she doesn't like you that's your own fault. Clear instructions and does a good job answering questions
I was in French in Elementary school, then switched to English. She is a very good teacher, she is very clear on instructions, if I have a question I am always welcome to ask. The people that do not do very well in her class are the people that don't try very hard. Her exams are hard, but no too hard that you can't get an A, if you try. Honestly though, she is a bit rude and will call you out in front of the class sometimes.
Ms. Lin is not an incredible French teacher as she is not the best at French. She also can be unfair, have unrealistic expectations and she has a different mood every day.
She's....meh. But generally a good French teacher
her french class is very challenging. she will give out alot of homework and will mark hard. You will most likely get a bad mark but should come out of her class with a lot more french than what you began with.
She's easily the best English teacher at the school. Super helpful, efficient, and fair. I feel like the people who don't enjoy her class are usually the ones who don't care about school whatsoever.
She's one of the best English teachers in the school if you're a good student. Lets you know what is expected very clearly, follow the rules in her class and you'll do well.
Hard class, but she liked me so I good somewhat of a good mark. Very bias
Very strict, but a great teacher with a lot of knowledge outside of her teaching field.
SHE DOESN'T FOLLOW THE SCHOOL POLICY! Elaine penalizes you for not finishing your homework by dropping your mark, not just your work habits(illegal). Which for me, having the ocassional "oops, I forgot my hw!" moments, screwed my mark up really bad
Listen, like all of us, my girl Elaine has her good and bad days. Sometimes she flips over inconsequential things, but all in all, she is an effective teacher. Her class is no walk in the park, though.
probably won't get an A from her....she has hiiiigh expectations....so...good luck if you are in her class!
Get on her good side or you're doomed. If you plan on getting an A in her class forget it. A high B is all that is ever recieved by her.
never had her. i heard shes really nice but none of my friends like her
Ms. Lin's class is soooooo fun. I love her studying tequniques
very temperamental...but still and awesome teacher...some projects are too hard...and i always get into trouble for small things
Ms. Lin has her days when shes happy or when shes really mad. Yor basically hope that its a good day or your doing A LOT of work!
i learned alot of french...more this year than ever...her formulas and teaching techniques really helped me.
i didn't learn much from her class, and getting good marks is hard in this class. Shes nice, but gets really mad sometimes for small things (i would know).
Ms. Lin is the BEST teacher ever!! she's sooo nice and i luv her!! she's also a GREAT teacher!!
