When I first had her, I hated her. Later on in the year, I realized her classes may be boring, but everything was so clear.
Eeuwes actually helps you improve in the long run. Be prepared since she will call you on answers randomly, in result embarass u in front of class. I dont condone it but now im trained like a hawk to give answers on the fly. She goes thru lessons quick so if you cant keep up, do your homework all the time, dont skip. nothing in academic 9/10 math matters since only a little gets repeated in 11/12. So as long as you understand the basics, dont worry, once in post 2nd no one cares about ure gr now
Not a nice woman but a good teacher overall!
I get that it's your teaching style, but I swear if I get called up on one more time when I'm copying down the already complicated notes you speedily wrote down without thinking, I'm going to have a conniption. You can't expect people to just pick it up, and if they are struggling, don't embarrass them in front of the whole class. You can address their needs outside a very open classroom setting. Maybe it's not intentional, but it's like you guilt us every time we don't understand something.
I had Mrs. Eeuwes for Grade 9 academic math, and even though I hated her at first, she's an excellent teacher, and I got a really good mark in her class. We personally didn't really like each other, but always ask for help and she'll give it to you.
Mrs. Eeuwes is a really good person. However, she moves to quickly through notes and points out students who do things wrong. She also constently tells us that we are making grade nine mistakes and it doesn't take a rocket scinentist to figure it out. I feel that it should be normal for a grade ten student to be making a grade nine mistake seeing as how there is no average person. All in all, I say that Mrs. Eeuwes has good intentions and just needs to better learn how to transfer her ideas. :)
Mrs Eeuwes is one of my favourite teachers! As long as you do your homework and actually try in math class you get an amazing grade! She explains things very well and is just incredible!!
mrs. eeuwes taught me grade 9 math. She really helped me alot when i was away alot for sports. she gave me extra help to teach me the work i missed. she gives good lessons in class and makes m
She is nice, but tough kind of teacher. She does give alot of extra help when need, but you have to ask for the help and mean it to really get her attention. Overall a pretty good teacher though.
I really like the lessons are run consistantly the same way every day. It makes it all much easier to follow.
she was very helpful as our homeroom teacher, and always welcomed us for extra help.
Holy harsh guys!..She's a Math teacher..makes sense that she would care about math. She picks on people who don't do their work..so maybe Oh I dunno DO YOUR WORK. U rawk mrs.E!
she likes me and gives me good grades... but i see how she works with the people that actually DO need help... and being in her class is soo boring...
picks on people way too much! i think she likes to make people look stupid. i know she liked to do that to me, i don't like her. but she WAS good at math..
I don't think we got along very well in grade nine but afterwards we seemed OK. Thanks for helping me get through math. MIND MAPS RULE!! :D
