Physics 11 and 12 were very interesting classes. If you are strong in math and can think critically, then the course is easy to handle. However if you are not, you may want to reconsider taking physics. Quizzes are frequent and tests are usually announced one week prior. Quizzes may have content that you did not learn in class. Tennant solely uses the textbook for practice problems. He teaches through examples that you copy from the overhead. It may not be clear, but he knows what he is doing.

Mr. Tennant is my favourite teacher, 10/10. He hardly gives out any homework and there are never any surprises on the tests. If there is he will omit them. also he drops you lowest quiz marks. He is kind.

Really does not teach at all, most of the class is spent doing examples that he rushes through without explaining properly and he doesn't explain any of the concepts properly at all. Literally, puts the least amount of effort into his classes out of any of jh teacher. Sometimes funny but thats it.

Tennant is the worst teacher ever. He has taught us nothing the entire semester. Our class has spent more time writing quizzes than notes. He understands Physics, but doesn't understand how to teach it. He should reflect on what he is doing in class and think about if he's teaching us or just wasting our time. I had to get a tutor because there is no one to teach me. If i had a teacher, I wouldn't need a tutor. Johnston Heights needs a better Physics teacher. Take Physics online not with Tennant

Mr. Tennant is great. Physics 11/12 is really dry. Though you only do examples, most of the examples, given the fact that you attend class and ACTUALLY try, will do well. His test and quizzes are either his own or provincial questions. Most of the time he put questions from your previous exam/quizzes in your final. For people taking Physics 11, make sure you write down all the examples because he does homework check and its just copying down certain examples that you took in class.

he's a really good teacher, but you have to pay attention and take notes. his lessons are pretty fast-paced, but he's willing to help if you need it. he's also really funny in an offbeat kind of way.

If you like learning through examples then he is definatley the teacher for you. His notes are based on examples, at least for physics. I was really frusterated until I figured that out. But overall I really liked him.Always there to help,I liked the studying parties that he organized for us. His class is for those willing to do some of there own reading from texts books, and come to class prepared to ask quest.(Its our educ. system that makes us depended on teachers notes, rather than writing are own notes.)

Not too good at teaching actually TEACHING math. I guess just because the school can't afford real math teachers. Anyways, what I hear is that he's a really good physics teacher, I can see that. Overall, he's a cool guy, chill. He lets you listen to music and sometimes even when I was sneaking food into my mouth, I'm pretty sure he saw me and didn't say anything!
