16 years after graduating from college Beauvoir, I realized how amazing she was. Mainly because her list of book to read were alternative . About native ppl, teenage distress, ... I didn't realize it then, but she was a superb teacher. I wouldn't rate Beauvoir nearly as well as I would her. Cheers Doris, hope you are enjoying retirement.
THIS TEACHER IS AMAZING SHE WILL TEACH YOU SO MUCH IN SO LITTLE TIME, THIS IS A TEACHER YOU WILL MISS SHE WILL SOON RETIRE AND YOULL BE SAD NOT TO HAVE HER CZ SHES SO AMAZING>!
nice person, but shes sometimes a bit hard to undestand
Nice to talk to but a bit too military and severe :S And for those who thnik she give too many homework, don'T do them :P
She is by far the best teacher in that craptastic school. Ive had 3 good teachers in all my sad years at beaubois and shes definitely one of em
good teacher, sometimes in a bad mood but it happens, and at least my brain is enriched with english... VERY NICE
Doris, I truly apologize for not realizing this when i was in your classroom. Once again... thank you. Pierre-Luc Salvati [email protected]
Unfortunately, students rarely understand that a teacher who is hard on you and makes you work hard is a teacher that DOES care about you; one that will appreciate when you succeed...
However, in highschool, very few of us knew how to appreciate this type of approach. I never got the chance to say thank you Doris, you are a great teacher. You tought me alot and prepared me well...
but now, nearly 10 years later, I realize that she was one of the best teacher I ever had. Doris always pushed us to work hard and broaden our limits...
My Name is Pierre-Luc Salvati and I graduated in 1998. Back then, I shared the same opinion as many of you. I thought Doris was a rough teacher; pushed us too hard; gave too much homework...
Doris Feder has been the most helpul teacher. She is also very considerate and makes you realize many things.Yes she might talk a lot but if only you could realize the relevance of what she says.200/10
Doris taught me so much, more so than just english. Even when we thought she was tough, now that we are way beyond high school, we realize how much she helped. I couldn't be where I am without her.
excellent teacher, loved her very much... very exigent but after all, that's what's important in classroom!
I have spent many years with her, but frankly she may be a good teacher yet very harsh and has no pity for her students. By far she is the crankiest teacher that I have ever had.
OMG, from where should I start... this " teacher" doesn't belong in a school... she has been in this school for so long and still, she doesn't understand her students and actually don't care of them..
she talks so much, one day she started talking about a book and then 20 minutes later (i counted)ended by saying most of you know if you want to go to college by the age of 10 OMG!
She's a really great teacher, really knows her stuff. She can sometimes exagerate with the work but she's good nonetheless
You are a sponge...absorbe at least 500 hours of english to be binlingual.
She doesn't seem to realize that we can't do 600 words on weird essays every class...
She's just talking about "juif" ang it's getting on my nerves
although her intentions are good, she must realize that not everyone has can be cured 'back' to a sane state of mind. dark clouds are not always a negative thi
