She's a good teacher, explains well and knows how to make the material interesting. Downside is, programming labs are hard, and in tech support, she tests you on how hands on you are with material. Better than Dan.

I agree with the comment 2 below me. Programming 1 is the simplest thing ever and if you don't get it then just lol. Impossible for hard labs since it's programming 1. She will sit next to you and help you if you ask and she is very nice. If you get less than 90 in either of her classes(Programming 1 and Tech Support) I am required to laugh at you. Like, just drop out because once you get to Dan in 3rd semester you will be crying since he is infinitely harder than her and will not help you.

If you want an accurate representation of how Diane is as a teacher, look at the earliest 3/4 pages of her reviews. After that someone got seriously pissed off at her or life in general.

She's a cool person, but as a teacher for programming 1, she literally makes her labs hard, but at the same time, she's not Dan Gryte(who is a completely different story and far worse than her)

She's good for Tech Support but not for Programming I. She does have very beautiful and pretty bare feet though

Diane is a very beautiful and sweet young lady but not a great teacher, in Tech Support, she gave me a 60% on the dot and made me fail Programming I with a 43%. I had her again but I passed with a 71%

Very nice teacher. Loves what she's doing. Easy to get good grades. Had her for Programming I and Tech Support. Definitely one of my favorite teachers at Abbott.

She is the worst teacher for Programming I, never available for office hours and marks hard on the labs

Very annoying teacher. She teaches too fast making the class itself hard to understand and her labs are ridiculously hard because she's a hard grader

Someone was probably pissed off at her and downgraded her as much as possible. Diane is great, and loved by all of the computer science community. Don't let any of these reviews fool you.

Alot of the comments here are quite negative, giving Diane an unfair rating. She's a good teacher, the class is quite easy if you listen(referring to Prog I). Interesting class with a good teacher!

I had Dianne for Programming 1 this year and I thought she was an amazing teacher. I Was never confused with anything even after entering the class 3 weeks late. I recommend this teacher highly!

If it wasn't for Diane my basis for programming would have been very weak. She does a tremendous job at teaching the material and making you understand all of the topics at hand.

How did this teacher get a high rating. Her programming tests are very hard and she expects you to figure everything out on your own

How did this teacher get a 4.6. her programming tests are very hard and she expects you to figure everything out on your own. If she didn't talk so fast, I wouldn't need a tutor and I would still pass the course.
