Easy class if you study and pay attention to class. She treats you like a high school kid though, no phone, no talking ect... She gets annoyed if you go against her opinion and doesn't even share the powerpoints with the students even before the exam.

Copy book is required. Make sure to do the homework because she checks. Make sure all your answers are thorough even if ur answering her questions. She makes you feel like your in high school. Constantly tapping her pen on her desk to get your attention. Don't bring your phone to class it's not worth it. So no way of studying notes because she doesn't share the powerpoints, disorganized. DON'T LEAVE CLASS OR COME LATE. In conclusion work hard, go to class and stay quiet and HOLD YOUR BLADDER

Had for western civ. Super difficult exams. Take super detailed notes and study thoroughly, and you will do well. Other people found her really strict but guess what you're not supposed to gab loudly with your friends through the entire lecture -.- Honestly so disrespectful. So, don't talk over the lecture, be attentive and ready to give answers. She really appreciates the effort, even if you give a bad answer. And always be really detailed in your exam answers and homework.

Had her for western civ, and although shes super boring at times, she is super knowledgeable and and is very clear. She doesn't post any of her powerpoints online and she is one of those teachers who doesn't read from her powerpoints.

Took her for third world history. Such a knowledgable woman! She really knows what she is talking about. She's a bit disorganized especially during lectures as she goes in all sorts of directions and your notes don't add up. She expects you to remember A LOT for her tests (and specifics to get full marks) but gives you very clear and helpful study guides. Majority of the tests are from the readings and not lectures! HIGHLY recommend her if you enjoy history.

I personally thought she was a decent teacher, shes pretty knowledgeable about what she teaches. She can be rude in some instances, and won't remember your name all semester and will go on rants about the attendance of her classes. The methods she uses for her reviews before her exams aren't well received and offended a student in my class. Shes decent overall.

Very sweet lady, though I'll echo the comments on disorganization. Had her for Western Civ and the workload was alright, tests weren't too difficult if you listened and took notes. VERY disorganized though, constantly forgetting due dates and having to correct her own mistakes. Like her as a person though, cares a lot about women's rights. Also quite lenient and sympathetic with late assignments.

Don't like her at all, shes not approachable and when I did approach her I felt like she was belittling me and I didn't like that. Studying is ridiculous. You study your entire book and there's nothing on the exam. Avoid

Overall a good teacher, i wouldn't mind taking her again, tests were always super fair and lectures were quite interesting. she kind of tells one long story, which isn't a bad thing in my opinion it gives quite good perspective on the way things occurred. if you take her or have taken her, you will realize when she wants the class to be quiet she taps her pen on the overhead projector a million times

She's amazing. You really have to love history to take her course. I was in History of the 20th Century, and it was amazing. It requires work but I wouldn't change this course for the world. She's one passionate teacher and you will learn alot. You don't have to know alot about history but you must simply be willing to open your mind and learn something new.
