I greatly enjoyed learning with Mr. Palidwar. He didn't just teach me history. He taught me and others how to think critically about historical events as reported. His manner was not that of a pedantic blow-hard. Laid-back Mr. P gently, warmly, and sometimes wryly presented ideas, and then invited us to consider what we thought about the event. There was no 'right' answer, only answers that we could explain and defend, or answers that required more thought.
I graduated in 1988 and remember very fondly Mr. Palidwar. The best high school teacher I had. He brought the material to life and encouraged participation. He loved to tap current issues/politics of the day and let ideas be debated openly. A gem.
This teacher us a life changer. I graduated in 1999 and took law and history with him. He was the absolute best teacher. He is tough to impress but we all wanted to work hard for him. He didn't play favorites, was never cruel or rude and genuinely loved to teach us .
I learned so much in his classroom about academics and life.
I graduated approx 15 years ago and Mr. Palidwar inspired me to become a teacher. Great teacher
A very good teacher and man. I hope that there are more teachers like him in the future.
Best teacher I ever had. He made history interesting. Thank you.
I graduated over 20 years ago and he was absolutely the best teacher I've ever had - funny, irreverant, caring.
He was the best and my most favourite teacher in high school - even today, seven years after graduating I still find myself remembering how much I enjoyed his classes - especially Law!
He was an amazing teacher. No teacher that has ever taught me can compare. He loves teaching and it shows.
Fun and hillarious. Definately has his opinions! The only sub I've ever had who actually remembers your name and who you are!
