Mr. David Luers is an outstanding teacher, he fully explains concepts with his method of choice, making it logical and understanding to numerous students. His use of the textbook and homework assignments can be a bit overwhelming but does allow students to be able to finish their missing work for next class. Tests can be extremely long especially with a short time period during a block. He is knowledgeable which he will be able to answer questions on the spot. Mr. Luers is an excellent teacher.

Dank teacher. Teaches pretty well. Just saying, it is 40 mins of homework a night and if you go over, then you don't have to do anymore. If there is less than 40, then you're all good.

Incredibly strict. His workload is insane, 1-2 hours homework if you want to say you “have it”, One system for everything he does. Other than the class starting “any questions”, try and ask a question and the answer will be I don’t care repeatedly. With that, he won’t know or care about anyone’s name or who they are. His tests are stupidly long, first test was 11 pages. He’ll yell at anything not on the subject. Makes fun of students. Managed to make me cry twice. In 2 months.

He has a lot of funny stories if you pull on him hard enough. Ask him about the time he had a beard, got into bar fights, and planted trees. Otherwise he is a very straightforward teacher who generally gives straightforward assesments. He's also good at asking questions. However, he does have a tendency to teach too fast so be sure to ask questions if you don't get it.

Mr. Luers is awesome! He breaks every subject down into chunks and explains everything clearly. I've never had a teacher that teaches so methodically.

He totally messed up my math grade, considering how well I did on the exams vs. his tests/quizzes/bonuses. Whatevs, I thought he was a pretty damn funny character; weight training and all.
