Very nice guy... maybe a bit too talkative but a very smart and interesting man. He marks quite fairly for an English teacher, my suggestion to him would be to maybe make your lessons a bit more interesting and if you are a student, just get on his good side an don't sleep in class or he will make you stand up for the rest of the class
Ma hommie Mr. K is the illest around yo fureal
He's an wesome teacher, never did much of my work but hes chill. He's pretty wacky and looks like a rock star and he's pretty tolerant
Mr. Kay is the wackiest and coolest teacher around. He's chill but really super nice and interesting guy.
We never really did anything in his class... I can't really think of one thing. He is a smart guy but a little to talkative. Not the easiest teacher but also not the hardest but for an english teacher he is pretty easy.
Nice guy overall, helpful, but a bit spaced out sometimes. Barely anything gets done in any of his classes, he usually tells boring stories all period and then complains about how the class is behind the other classes, he is disorganised, has a low tolerance towards opinions different from his, and chooses obvious favorites.
Mr. Kay is HUGE on respect. If you waltz into his class thinking you're guaranteed good marks then you're just stupid. He may seem dimwitted at times, yes you do hear a lot about Swaziland, but he's still the head of the English department and has earned it. He isn't confusing or strict so there's really no excuse for why anyone wouldn't do well in his course. Just be on task and attentive and you'll pass with flying colours.
he doesn't like anybody's opinion if it's different from his own
Nice guy, but meh teacher. He gets realy off topic, and in order to suceed in his class, you must agree with him, grade 9's: on the beowulf asignment, say it's the best movie you have ever seen .
He is overall a nice, decent person. However, he is perhaps one of the most unorganized and lazy teachers ever. Tries too much to "fit in" with students rather than actually teach.
he's grrrreat! gave me a bad mark and I hated him for some time but whatever I'm graduating anyway. really literate and interesting, fills your head with amazing ideas, and overall cool guy
Filter out the chaff and banter and pay attention to -his- critical take on the texts - if you give it a fair hearing and respond originally, you will get the marks you think you deserve. Otherwise...
He's a nice guy, but I have to say he's boring and his assignments really have nothing to do with what we've learned...mostly because he doesn't do much "teaching", but telling us boring stories.
very easy teacher but good person I think. His jokes are nice and make restfull atmosphere in the classroom :) keep it up sir
Fun guy, not so great teacher. He gives out really random assignments and kinda doesn't make sense. He tries to help the best he can though if you don't get it. He marks easy first term, hard second.
okay..where can i start? he's boring, unorganized, not funny, too picky bout the lil details and not the overall assignment.. can't make up his mind about duedate terrible teacher!
he's ok, but boring and he dusnt shut up, he marks easily tho
Easiest english teacher if you dont read the book/play and have to do a test. Just read the summary.
Hope he's not this boring at home or with his friends. Wow.
Mr. Kay was the best teacher - really knows how to connect with his students.
he is a nice person, but talks too much about nothing- like 50% of school year
nice but marking and assignments are vague and abitrary! Now i hate English!
look at him for who he is, not what others have said
why does he keep retelling the swaziland/donkey story every year?
a bit mimbo-ish, nice guy, the did run into a donkey on his motorbike too.
