Had as a sub and I understood everything perfectly. Hes a great teacher
One of the best math teachers I have ever encountered in my life, having him teach I did so well in class
Just like the other reviews below, I have mixed feelings about him. He wants methods/concepts done his way and won't tolerate for others. He can come off as threatening and strict by the way he teaches and speaks, but I believe, he's just pushing us to reach our potential. And with that, he often suggests that we ask for help from him. If you do, you'll get the most helpful and detailed answer ever. Don't be intimidated by him, he just wants to help you be successful.
he knows his stuff, but is very strict and impersonal. explains concepts in his own way, which is not understood by all students. by far my least favorite math teacher.
I honestly find him to be the best math teacher in Centennial. He is AMAZING at explaining concepts. His class may be hard for some, but if you go in for help after school (get on his good side) and do the homework, you are bound for success!!
He's not that bad. Like every other student, I've heard the rumours. The one and only time I had him as my teacher was for Calculus 12 and sure, he wasn't AMAZING but he was pretty darn good. Do the homework and SHOW UP. His Show Me's are not bad at all for Calculus 12. I actually found Calculus 12 easier and far more enjoyable than Pre-Calculus 12. Also, go in for help every chance you get after school if you want to succeed. He will help you and point you in the right direction. Trust me.
Very straight-forward and clear when he teaches Math 10. I don't know much about others but I personally enjoyed his teaching style. He is definitely available to answer if you ask.
Really bad. just... really really bad. Blames the students for their own bad grades and does not even consider the possibility that it might be the teacher's fault. He lectures(yells) at the class for thirty minutes at how they're not trying hard enough at least one time in every class he teaches cause he's got a hard head. 98% in Math 11, 73% in Math 12. I don't even want to think about Calc 12. If you get him, get your parents to call in, cause you're not getting out of it.
I went from 92% in Math 11 to 60% in Math 12 with him. He constantly makes mistakes when giving examples and moves on to the next example before you know what he did wrong
He's a really wonderful counselor! He's willing to help you out in any way you can. You're really lucky if he's your counselor.
Awesome counsellor:) he'll do anything to help you out, even take his time to actually get up and go around asking other counsellors regarding your question=)
honestly a bad calc teacher. he tested on stuff he didn't teach and classes were soo long.
He's not a good teacher. He doesn't teach you the necessary stuff to do homework and tests unless you go to tutorial. Favors people. Doesn't care if you're late.
Mr Ramsay is An awsome counseller who will do anything for you!
