He has had a huge impact on how I view mathmatics. All math teachers should be FORCED to take lessons from him. He is the only one that has ever explained math rather than just teaching math. Truly a great teacher, and a great man.
I could write a whole paragraph, but hopefully simplicity will be even more powerful in explaining how Dave Cacchioni is the single best teacher I have ever had (even into my undergrad), and is the epitome of what others in this profession should strive towards. I will never forget you Mr. Cach, best of luck in the future!
One of the best teachers my son has ever had. Great teaching skills combined with lots of extra support and understanding of student's individual learning. Master in the art of making rigorous math classes fun!
I've always received an A.Unfortunately I failed a math quiz (32%) and came to Mr Cacchioni with tears in my eyes and felt sick.He immediately grabbed a chair and sat beside me and completely ignored the other students. He taught every single question until I understood all my mistakes. With his help, I managed to score 100% on my final exam.He was so excited that he found my sis (thought she was me) and told her. When I asked him because I couldn't believe it, he smiled and nodded at me.
BEST MATH TEACHER EVER! Everyone misses Cacch because he's truly the best! Come back soon!
Pretty good teacher although he's a hard marker. Sometimes trying your best isn't enough because you either get it or don't. His stuff really tests your abilities and some of the stuff he teaches aren't in the textbook (even/odd functions, graphing extraneous roots and slant asymptotes). For Pre-Calc 12, the first chapter test is always the hardest (on average) so make sure you study very hard!!!
Mr Cacch is my teacher this year, and judging from my experience you better be careful. He doesn't check your homework, so if you want do well in quizzes/tests you better make sure you self-study and do all your homework no matter what. DO NOT cram for studying! Also, his quizzes/tests aren't always difficult, but its very tricky and make sure you check ALL your work. Whatever he says in class -> pay attention!!!
He is one of the best teachers I have ever had. Very helpful and responsible. He makes good comparison with some other teachers at Lord Byng(I mean he is very good, as compared to some other teachers). And of course, you need full throttle in his class.
Awesome teacher, but watch out for his tests, they can sometimes be brutal. (maybe its just cause im not that good at math...)
Cacchioni has been teaching me for nearly 3 years now. His teaching style is precise and clear and not once had I ever been confused in the material he taught since he clarifies everything until everyone fully understands it. The classes he taught has always been fun. One thing however is that he seems to think that he is getting old which is sometimes evident in the way he talks and dresses. I ho
Decent teacher, but sometimes he explains a little too fast. Still, he's glad to help anyone. Also, some of the questions on the test are tricky
I had Mr. Cash for 2 years and he was a great teacher. Very clear.
Hardest, biggest BEST "fun" I've ever had. He likes to take control..
awesome. if you have him, don't switch out of his class.
really awesome teacher in general. but you really gotta be good at math to do well...
His class can be tough, but he teaches everything well and makes sure all the students understand (or at least tries).
I had him for summer and his GREAT at teaching math.
i love cacchioni! his classes are not boring at all and he's very lenient on switching test dates if the class feels that they're not ready yet!
