One of the better math teachers at centennial. Nice, Approachable and easy to follow. Give this women a raise!
She's a good teacher. If she says something confusing, she re-explains it very well when asked.
made math bearable, for the most part.
great teacher. passionate about her job. very helpful
Ms. Mcqueen has one of the best teaching styles out of all the teachers in the math department. It is very interactive and visual, perfect for students who struggle with grasping the math and its concepts. I wish she taught grade 12 math, as her teaching style would have been a lot more effective than the current grade 12 math teachers. She is one of the few teachers that doesn't just teach a lesson and send you to your textbooks. She utilizes numerous classroom activities and practice sessions.
Very rushed. Tries to get things over with leaving many kids in my class including me clueless. She can help if you ask her for math help but she almost never helps you during class instead leaving it til' the end of class and may get you late for your next class or miss your bus.
I had her for grade 10 math. Many people say she's much better at teaching grade 11, however, she was an iffy grade 10 teacher. Made us do a lot of self learning and blamed some of our students for crying from stress. I personally used Khan academy more for learning than listening to her, since she didn't really teach at all some times. My opinion may change if I get her for another grade, but she wasn't the best.
Mrs. Mqueen was the best math teacher I ever had
very helpful, tried to make sure everyone understood before moving on, and was always excited about her subject
Ms.Mcqueen is one of the most amazing math teachers i've ever had. If there was a choice to have her every year for math, i would choose her! She makes things unbelievably clear.
The only problem I have with her is that she has a baby now and she thinks of everybody as babys now :-/ but no bad.
She is my favourite math teacher. She is also a great foos ball player!!!
