Online course is just straight up confusing; everything about it... Website is outdated and links don't even work at times.
Marks are ridiculously deducted if you do not follow his methods for solving the problems --- the 7 steps that you must show when solving a problem is an unnecessary amount of extra work, sometimes even pointless.

I take a physics online course at VLN and I have this fool of a teacher. He maliciously docks marks off.
His profession conduct is impeded by his emotions. If you hand in work within the last two weeks of the course, he will randomly dock marks off your assignments.
He doesn't know that 60s or 60(seconds) is one significant figure; answers somehow turn into two sig figs due to this error and oversight.
He doesn't expect you to look over comments for your grades. Bad teacher overall.

I had him for an online course...it was the worst planned out course I have ever taken, and he absolutely refused to answer any of my questions. He left me wondering if he actually COULD answer my questions!!!! Avoid him at all costs, you will not be prepared for the higher level courses unless you already know the work or have a tutor or something.

Tries to include to much computer stuff in regular science. Although it is very easy, it doesn't prepare you at all for the final exam. Wastes A LOT of paper. Kind of weird at times.

Well, what I think is that the homeworks a pain. I'm doing fine studying my own way, the way other classes want me to study, but Mr. Rozitis just makes us find the definitions for words. I don't learn anything from that. It's a waste of paper too. Each section for one page! Ridiculous... The class is not one I look forward to everyday even though I like science. I learn more from the Bill Nye videos than from the homework that he assigns us. What's the point of que cards? Such a waste.

Well I was basically on the borderline of failing his class but oh well, I dig him and science. He really does care if you are failing (like I was) and but I can't say he was the greatest teacher. Basically it was, do your homework and you'll do fine. So.. if you're going to have him, then follow that. If you have troubles studing off of the cue cards or active reading, that's fine. But you still have to do them =) it's part of homework.

hahaha, i don't know how this teacher is now, but when he taught me gr. 10 science? i think he totally threw out the gr. 10 cirriculum out the window. all i learned was how to make power point presentations, write on paper the wrong way, and participate in the sun run. in the end i found myself somewhat LOST in higher science courses...
