I graduated 8 years ago and I still consider Mr.Turpin to be the best teacher in the world. He's very humourous, well-spoken, and ultimately, he cares about his students. It's not just learning about social studies or history in his class. He prepares you on how to think critically and speak in open discussions. In his classes, it's all about what you take away at the end of the day. For me, I took away skills that helped me throughout university and my career.

He is one of the most hilarious, sometimes inappropriate, and knowledgeable teachers I have ever met. Extremely helpful at all times and generous when making deals with students. He is also very kind and caring. He loves his students!

Mr. Turpin is amazing. From the way that he teaches, you can tell that he has passion and extensive knowledge of what he is teaching. His lectures are captivating and you will never ever fall asleep in his class. His class was probably one of the most entertaining classes that I've ever been in. He is an extremely fair marker and if you work hard you will obtain the grade that you desire.

Mr. Turpin is concise in his lectures, can seemingly pull hilarious jokes off sheer whim, and despite his intimidating physical stature, is truly compassionate towards his students. I will always remember Turpin as the person who somehow made Socials Studies interesting, and for his complete and utter disregard of political correctness.

Really good teacher! I absolutely hate socials, but he actually made it fun! He makes fun of people all the time, and it's hilarious. His tests are really easy, and you don't have to do many notes. If you're an outgoing person, this class will be best for you! Wish I had him again next year!

He is the best teacher in the world, NO NOTES he just gives us the notes because he says that he hated doing that in school. You will have an absolute blast in his class because he is the best teacher, he always jokes around and he will make fun of you guys occasionally. Dont sit across from the windows because he says whoever sits there is a Bonehead because apparently every one that sat there before was a Bonehead. HA! He calls that place BONEHEAD ROW. You will love his class. ENJOY!!!
