Chrispy is a pretty bad teacher, he is by far the hardest math teacher in UCC. His only real advice is go to math help.

Gonna be blunt here, I hate him. To be honest, I don't think he's qualified to teach. He is condescending toward the students, and when he teaches things he uses phrases like "You should already know this" "This is easy" "You should go faster", which are really discouraging. The only help he offers is to go to math help, but he doesn't even go! I told him I needed him to slow down and be clearer, he promised to help me out, and then continued teaching the exact same way. GET OUT IF YOU CAN!!!

i've gotta say, overall, he wasnt a very good teacher. and i am not saying this because i got a below average mark. It is because he is abrasive when you ask him for help, makes terrible notes and he spent about two weeks on the most important unit of the course. Since he neglects some of the most important sections of the course, i suffered when i continued on to grade 12 advanced functions. Switch out if you have the chance.

Although not a very popular teacher with his strange teaching methods, i found Mr.Parent a pleasure to have as a math teacher. he explained thoroughly all of the material as well provided examples with verbal steps. what some people may have had difficulty in his class was that he provided the steps verbally. He does not have a pleasant attitude when asking for assistance but as long as you show a basic understanding of the material he is more than happy to explain it to you. :)
