Mr. Sidhu does a great job at making sure that we don't die in Uni. He explains the concepts well and marks fairly. Unfortunately, for 2016-2017, he's taken it rather easy on us. Maybe it's just because this year of students are so bad.
Ill reccomend him, not as bad as some people think, really
Had Mr. Sidhu last year. Currently in Uni. Great teacher but slightly on the harder side. Marks fairly and will definitely prepare you for University. His tests are not impossible but if you do the homework and study you should be fine. Totally recommend this teacher. Hes also really chill and funny. He usually writes the exam so its easy to do well in it since he prepares you for it and mostly the other classes struggle on the exam. Always ask questions if you need it, trust me...
Although calculus has become my lowest mark in grade 12, Mr. Sidhu is my favourite teacher. His sense of humour is amazing and he is always willing to help those who need it. Don't be afraid to ask like I was! He likes to challenge his students because he knows that things will come out of being challenged and academically stimulated. He definitely prepared me well for university.
He's awesome. He might not smile much, but he's actually really chill. And doing homework actually helps so much in his class. The tests should be fine if you study. But with him, you have to actually study, it's one of the few classes people get the mark they deserve.
Amazing teacher he explains stuff so well! But you need to do all the work he gives you or you'll do bad on his tests. He is really fun and funny, but sarcastic, which is ok I guess. His class made me like math!
mr sidhu truly has a gift, every time i came back all confused from Mrs. Miron, he would explain everything so well with out yelling
His grade 12 calculus class was BRUTAL. But he puts in the extra time and effort to help you learn and do well. He doesn't see students as just a number; if you show that you're trying, he really does
Way too much homework. And his tests are hard. Not a lot of questions, but they're worth so much each, so for the hard questions if you screw them up you lose automatic 10% right there. And his class
Strict, but as a Math Teacher, I wasn't expecting anything else. The tests are rather easy and he gives a reasonable amount of time to ask questions if you need help.
I had Sidhu back in 2005 and he was brutal (but to be fair, I never did the homework, so struggling was my fault). He called home to tell my parents how poorly I was doing and arranged for a tutor (wh
At first I kinda liked him but he doesn't teach too well and the exam was hard cuz he was writing most of it. He said the last time he taught a Gr9 class (mine) was 5 years ago, mostly he teaches 12s
Great teacher for those who have learned everything already and are competing in all the math contests with 100% scores. Not so great for those who actually want decent marks and are firstime learners
excellent mathematics teacher. He really knows his stuff. Everything looks so easy when he does it on the board.. just that his tests are super hard!
Very easy teacher. I got 99.8% and he rounded to 100%. Very simple.
Excellent teacher but the tests are like math contests. The homework doesn't prepare you at all. He's funny though, and if you're good at math you'll have fun in his class.
He is not helpful at all when it comes to grade 12 students getting in to university. He shouldn't be the math department head he backs up everything by the math policy IT'S STUPID.
MOST AWESOME TEACHER EVER! He is always willing to help you, and when you dont understand something, he will explain it until you do.
Awesome teacher. Very Funny and sociable too. He's so smart and talented, it's unbelievable.
Quite hard. but very fair. Yes, he makes fun of you sometimes, but if you have a question about something he'll definitely help you out. He's also incredibly unbiased
VERY VERY HARD. watch out! switch before it's too late. if not, GOod luck! Hard marker (doesn't like to give part marks.) i had a tutor and did my homework and ended with a bad mark in his couse.
He makes you like a subject you hate. =p Why can't there be more teachers like him? Too bad I only got a week left before semester 2. =( Maybe I'll have him again in grade 12.
Sidhu knows his stuff, is clever, funny, and very good at explaining things. His courses are a bit too fast-paced, and he's tough on some people, but he's a great teacher.
I'm not sure I like him, but it's funny to watch him fight with Ms. Omozawa.
he's a cool guy. may seem kinda tough or strict, but he's doing it for your own good. challenges his students, gets them ready for university. a great sense of humour.
Hardest calc teacher in the school, but if you plan on going to university, take his calc class, you'll learn a lot.
avoid this teacher as much as you can, pick any other calc teacher as oppose to him, trust me you'll regret picking him, by far the hardest teacher in the school
funny guy, very detailed and careful in his teaching... wants everyone to do well... but why is he ALWAYS late on a test day?!
Knows his math, explains stuff clearly. Strict. His tests always have some "application-type" question...i hate those.
Very difficult teacher, but very helpful! Good luck dudes! You will see how good Mr. Sidhu is in universities!
He's a calculus teacher, calculus is not by design an easy course, so don't complain about the marks. Do your work, he's a genuinely great guy.
Dedicated and genuinely nice math teacher. He's good at clarifying confusing concepts, so ask questions!
he teaches very good. but enuf wit the failing jokes.....its gettin old now, besides its not the best way to encourage ur students
You better know your stuff and do homework... seriously. You can't pull off a decent mark w/o working!
His classes are a lot of fun! He seems sort of serious at first...but he's not, he's really nice. He also THINKS he's cool...but he's NOT! haha! j/k!
tricky tests. must know your stuff and you'll get a high 90 mark. Funny teacher.. makes fun of other classes
Such a great teacher. One of my favourites. Nice guy, so helpful, so smart. Made me like math. Tests are challenging, but fun.
Mr. Sidhu is THE greatest math teacher EVER, if you hate math, he'll make you like it. There should be more teachers like him.
did not like the kids in my grade......put down a lot of people by telling them negative things....and making fun of others
