Ms.Williams is nice and sometimes understanding, however, she marks to hard. For example, I had handed in a book report with a couple of grammar mistakes and a short plot because I had gone over the maximum of 500 words. She thought that my plot was too short however and that my book review was "vague", so she gave me a 65% overall. This is one example of her marking too hard.
Mrs. Williams is really nice, as well as understanding and empathetic. She is clear 100% of the time. I learn a lot in her classes. Really cool :D
Very empathetic, will accommodate for any problem you have. I was initially anxious to be in her classroom, but it didn't take long for me to realize she's one of the best teachers that I have come across in my entire life. She's so hip it hurts. If you ask anything about her teenage years you will be amazed at her life stories. Reasonable grader, very easy to understand, and an incredible role model.Get ready for your next year with her to be kickass. Definitely a teacher to look forward to.
Ms. Williams is a credible teacher! She's nice and caring, and tries to help. She's approachable, which matters a lot in this kind of subject. Her assignments were generally fun and creative, they were enjoyable! Although, some were notably tedious (10 journals, for example...). She's a lovely teacher though, and out of all the English teachers in Harbord is probably the best, if not, at least the most balanced.
Ms. Williams really prepared my son for University!
Loved her! Yeah the homework thing is a bit irksome especially when you have 7 other classes to deal with but the homework does serve a purpose. At my time at Harbord she was the only english teacher I have had that I felt really prepared me for the next year. Harbord has a wack-load of unconventional English teachers so sometimes its nice to get that typical experience--which is what you will get with her. Anyway, anything is better than Roffman
SOME TEACHERS NEED TO LEARN HOW TO TEACH, AND NOT GIVE SOOOO MUCH HMWK, LIKE MS. WILLIAMS AMOUNT OF HMWK COULD KILL YOU
She may put a lot of effort in her lessons, but not a very good teacher, she expects too much from her students, a book report due in a week and two days like come on..... she expects us to read a whole graphic novel in one night, she puts way too much pressure on her students. I remember feeling stressed out, even though i was getting a really goo mark. sometimes she can be just too much.
Personally she's not a very good teacher. I remember her giving the class a book report before the holidays and she expected it to be handed in the day we got back, plus the 10 journals due about a week or two after the book report
i really dont like her she give tooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much homework, she expects us to finish an essay in a week when we have
so nice!!!! such a great teacher except i hated doing the extra 2o journals!!
gr 11 english media and being on SAC in gr 12 with Ms Williams... so jokes, i love this lady! MS WILLIAAAAAAMMMMS!!! <3
really great teacher..very good n nice ..hope she teaches my class next year most importantly hope she comes back next year!
Probably one of the best teachers I've ever had. Easy to talk to, very clear, very helpful, and an all around great person. She knows her stuff and is one of the few 'normal' teachers left in this school.
We've had some fun discussions. Such has the history of the F word.
I think shes my best teacher I ever had. Too bad I only had her in gr.9 & 10. She is a fair marker. Easygoing-plays games in class. and makes class easy & fun. A Great Teacher!
she's so great. she's had such an interesting life. i love her class
