Mr.ResidentSleeper is a nice person, but is absolutely useless when it comes to assisting students or teaching class. Doesn't really matter if you attend his class or not since he doesn't teach anything anyways. He expects you to master the programs on your own and then do the assignment all in 2 weeks. Probably won't remember anything you learn from his class. He tries really hard to show new stuff and open new paths for students except his equipments don't work/aren't here half the time. yikes
Mr. Cho was okay. His deadlines sometimes seemed a bit harsh around the end of the course but he was a pretty fair marker and I did well in his course. He didn't describe how to use the programs super well, but for someone who already knows the basics (or has friends to ask) it wasn't too bad. He taught enough to go off of for the most part, so it wasn't awful. His class was enjoyable enough for anyone who enjoys using Photoshop, Illustrator, or Flash, and his assignments were interesting.
Nicest, most sincere and caring teacher Ive had.
I had a lot of trouble with my class with him, but I found that Mr. Cho was a really helpful and kind guy. He makes time for his students and tries to help them understand to the best of his ability. He's very knowledgeable and he's a good teacher. His deadlines are very reasonable and despite how hard I found his course, it was pretty enjoyable.
I had him for media arts, and hes honestly a really great teacher! Some of the assignments are a bit tricky for beginners at Photoshop but he explains reasonably well and his quizzes are easy too. He cracks funny jokes once in a while too and hes knowledgeable with the software.
Funny guy, we had a lot of time to chill in-class too if we finished stuff early. Marks easily if you can justify getting a higher mark.
His deadlines are pretty flexible if the whole class agrees to shift the date. We had a only week to do a 1 1/2 minute long animation for our final project on Adobe Flash and ended up extending it to two weeks by vote.
He marks really easily, I was in his animation class and it was great. He doesn't offer much help nor teach much, but that' because there is nothing to touch. We usually run into programming problems since we are animation students, but he taught us some basics and we were suppose to dig up the rest from the internet D: anyway, he is overall nice and easy.
if you take any tech course. make sure you get Brian Cho. he will go through the program really well and will help you suceed
