Mr.Rouleau is without a doubt a hard marker. However, one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. If you show interest and passion about what he’s teaching you will learn to love the course. His style is a little more judgemental, you must work hard to earn his approval but once you do you’ll realize all the criticism was purely constructive and you’ll appreciate everything he’s taught.
He looks down on millennials and thinks we are all dumb and lazy because of smartphones. Extremely close-minded, cringy, arrogant and has an unreasonable expectation for students.
I'm from Melbourne, Australia and I think that Brent is an amazing teacher. Seriously the best teacher I've ever had for performing arts. He actually cares and wants to help you reach your goals, and that's pretty hard to find over here. He's the reason I don't want to move schools, and I'm going to miss his teaching so much. He's always there when you need him and he offers great advice and insight into what you need in the performance industry. Thank you Brent. -Kiara
If you act nicely and behave in his class, you will have a great semester. If you don't, get ready for marks in the 60s and lower. He tends to be harder on Grade 9s and 10s, but he is still a very nice teacher. When I was in grade 9, he gave the class great advice on how to get better connected with the school and even sold us agendas. One of the best teachers I've ever had.
His expectations for his grade 9 class is waaaaaaay too high and he doesn't understand we can't form a perfect circle everyday and he doesn't really help us when we are practicing presentations he and he doesn't encourage us or help us improve our skills. but I enjoy his classes and look forward to his class everyday.
Tough at first, but if you prove you care about drama he's one of the best teachers you'll ever have. He doesn't talk down to students and if you stick with drama his class is really changes you in a good way.
Outstanding Teacher and friend, very funny but knows when to be serious! Do not get on his bad side he is not very forgiving, besides your all a bunch of cabbage heads to him! I believe he loves what he does and you don't find that often enough, Mr.Rouleau is an amazing actor and even more amazing teacher! I hope one day to be like him! Generous, screamingly funny and most of all the best of the best. Remember Rouleau Is Always Right! good luck Brent I hope your future brings you many blessings
Nice guy, knowledgeable in his field, very of critical of his students though, and is obsessed with circles.
He doesn't like kids, and he doesn't hesitate to devour your soul when marking. But, he's till cool in his own way. One things for sure, drama just wouldn't be the same without Mr. Rouleau.
I really like Mr.Rouleau, best drama teacher I've had, he knows what he's talking about, but yah he's a little obnoxious, but it's entertaining
mr rouleau is an awsome teacher he only wants to see the best students succeed in what they want
If you're in grade 9, he won't be nice to you because he'll think you're just there for your arts credit. He gets really cool after grade 9 though.
he is an awesome drama teacher..knows his stuff, but way to critical of everything!
Didn't like him at all, even though I got a good mar. Always on a bit of a power trip and too strict.
He is simply brilliant! Drama would not be the same without him.
Best Drama teacher ever. If you ever wanna act well, take his class, so much fun, and you improve astoundingly in time. 10/10 :)
Kinda odd. Nothing in his class has the slightest relation 2 drama, making the class very fun.
He's brilliant, but quite eccentric and very very critical. Waaay too scary. Don't go in expecting an easy drama class!
great guy. 4th year in his class, you really know him .
Hates our generation, picky, and strange, but overall and interesting good teacher.
very opinionated... but a stellar teacher. has firm control over the class and is well versed in the subject material through personal experience.
