Mrs. Sutherland is the best teacher I ever had. She and Don also became good friends and I was very blessed by her skill and wonderful manner. She was NOT the easiest teacher i had by far.. but she ta
Grad '92, she was one of the best teachers I ever had...tough, high standards, but only because her heart is huge and she wants her students to excel in life beyond highschool.
Is she still around? Grad '93. I credit my success in university english and my MBA thesis to the grammar lessons before each class. A legend.
Of all my years at this school, Mrs. Sutherland was the one I respected and learned from the most. I still find myself quoting Shakespeare and I graduated in 1990!!!!!
One of the best I've ever had! I've had university professors that don't come close to her knowledge, technique, and grace. I am forever grateful for her wisdom and concern!
The thing people need to realise about Sutherland is that yes she's hard but wheb you look back on highschool you'll realise she was really one of the best and she can teach anyone
I'm a Grad '87 and my brother is a Grad '84. We both admired her teaching technique and consider her our best teacher. She knew how to motivate us! Kudos!
Grad '95- I'm an English teacher now, and often chuckle at the sound of Mrs. Sutherland's voice-still in my head-echoing grammar. She was an amazing teacher!
GRAD 99. Her focus on sentence structure helped me get a 730 on my GMAT and an interview with Stanford. Only appreciated her wisdom after I left Seaquam.
ARHG. Smart lady but not the best English teacher. I realized this year how much better English class could be.
Very hard, but she was nice as long as u got on her good side... almost got me expelled tho...grrr....
