He is an excellent teacher.
Yea he has favourites, but that doesn't get in the way of your learning. The people leaving bad reviews are the people who slacked off and got left behind. The tests are hard and you need to do your homework every night. I did bad in the class (Mercy pass aweyea) but he helped me out when I asked for help. You learn a lot, but it requires work on your part. Mantyka's not a bad guy- if you respect him, he respects you. pretty simple
okay maybe he is acting like a university teacher, but we're not in university, we are in highschool he is a highschool teacher. we don't need the unfair strictness yet. and yes, he does play favourites. it doesnt matter about intelligence, if he hates you, he hates you. it's bull crap, people who have done nothing wrong is being picked on in class. i am highly against this
hes good at teaching and treats everyone like adults. All you haters are expecting him to baby you.
Once you get into university, you will realize he was the only teacher that got you actually prepared for university materials.
his exames.. its ridiculous how he expects us to use "common sense" to solve a problem we've never seen before when we only have 5 minutes left to finish the exam. I dislike him so very much...
Not a good teacher. Tells you how to do the stuff the he just gives you handouts. Then on his exams, he puts questions that we hadn't even learned about and says, its common sense!
He's a great teacher. He likes to challenge students to _learn_ things instead of simply memorizing. His tests are challenging in that he likes to ask questions that you may not have seen before. If you understand the material, you will do fine. It has already been mentioned that he respects you if you respect him. He will joke around and poke fun at people, but only those who he knows can take it.
Expects his students to work hard, but he's fair to you if you respect him. Definitely won't put up with any nonsense, although you can joke around with him.
He'll give you the basics for solving a problem and let you figure the rest out for yourself; It helps you remember how to do them. Go in 15 min early for his exams.
Great teaching. You will do good if you don't slack off. Exams are difficult, but assignments are easy marks.
wow...watch out!! most definantly can NOT slack off in his class or it'll really hurt you in the end-likes watchin ppl suffer, but will help you if u need it
Bill was a great teacher, but his dad was even better, oh well at least he still has "dads" notes to look off of.
Keep up... or be left behind. Has little patience for those less-than-intelligent students.
hardest tests ever, you scratch your head for an hour, then the next day he shows you how to do all the questions in 20 minutes
