Mr Attwell was my Local History teacher in 1976. He is the one teacher who has made a positive influence on my life.
I had him back in the 80s and I can't believe that he is still there! I thought he was weird, but he got his point across.
I had Mr. Attwell as a history teacher and say what you will about the man, but he is definatly one of the few teachers I can still recall clearly. His class was one I looked forward to and now over ten years later I drive around markham and see historic buildings I am reminded of him and what he taught us and take pride in our history. Thankyou
I had Mr attwell in 1998. To this day when someone asks me who was my favourite teacher, I say Mr Attwell. His history classes were boring, but when I graduated I missed him, and valued all the things he taught me. I wont forget the day he threw a empty desk at a brat of a fellow student, but in reason. He was strict, but very knoledgeable. we all miss you
class of 98. atwell prepared me for university. his class was hard and you appreciated it when you were done. well done sir, well done.
VERY GOOD... but don't know him, know his son, so yeah...
I loved his class. He got everybody to discuss ideas. 1990
called me immature, said I pulled the wool over his eyes, he was very perceptive. I did a lot of day dreaming in his class
I had him in the late 70's - Can't believe he's still there. But is he still pinning up his pant hems?
Taught me 3 years ago. Only teacher who taught me how to write a proper history essay from ground lvl up. He was respectful and cared about his students.
A great teacher. Above all, he commands RESPECT, not an easy thing to do.
Smart Man, but not as smart as he thinks-Values his own opinion too much
