Mme Galecka is strict, as we all can see from the comments. I truly believe that she just may possibly be the last of her kind. Mme Galecka left a lasting impression on every child she taught, but what's the one thing we have in common? We learned! my lord did we learn! I feel so privileged to have recieved the teachings of mme Galecka. As a child I loved/hated her, now as a mother, I have nothing but complete adoration.
She is nice at times, but can be very mean at times. Sometimes she makes us cry. Some people are also scared to ask her about things as they're scared she might shout. But when she's nice.. she's a really good teacher. She sometimes gives us candy! Other times, we study our heads off for a test. All in all.. she's okay.
She is nice but says things how it is. that can be a problem, most of the time she will usually say something really "cruel". Hipocrit ,tells us not to say things such as mild swearing but yet does it her self. Really not that fair.
I as well am from the class of 86.I remember that day the guys missed that ferry. I have never heard a voice get that loud. She was a great teacher and a good person.
I missed the boat at Center Island as well in 86 with RB and LR. That was fun. Had her for 4 years and I must have learned something because after all this time I've retained it and the french has come in handy in France and Quebec.
I love her! She was stricked and made me think she hated me, but she was the best, and i actually learned!! Continue the good work , miss you! *graduating class of 2010*
Fantastic. She put me on the straight and narrow back in 86 when I missed the ferry at center island.
She can be mean sometimes and VERY VERY STRICT.. but when you really get to know her shes nice.. WILD FIRE:) she was real nice to us *2 years ago*
umm she can be nice and she can be rude..but i suggest dont go to french immersion
