So far, she teach us almost nothing. Last class she did a critique of only 15 minutes and during all the class she's done absolutely nothing. Joe, Lorraine or Rachel or any other teacher come to see what we're doing when we draw or paint to give us advices, she doesn't. Worst art teacher I've ever had.

Grassi is a good teacher, and a good person, but don't get me wrong her class was useless. I took painting and instead of showing us different techniques and different ways of painting with the uses of different brushes, we stuck to the basic stuff, and did the whole semester one picture of our face 5 different ways, and a tree/branches 5 different ways. Personally I would have wanted more variety. She was never in class and when she was wasn't much help. Her classes were rather easy.

Antonietta is really nice -- don't get me wrong. However, she isn't the greatest art teacher. She seems to only know what she teaches & doesn't extend farther than that. Emailing her is a disaster as she usually only answers a week later & she never checks her Mios so don't even bother with that. She's barely in class (often late & gives LONG breaks). If you do the projects her way, you'll get a good grade, but if not, she will grade you lowly. Not recommended if you wanna do your own thing.

antonietta lost my sketchbook which contained most of my art and my drawings. she also lost other people's sketchbooks and projects. she doesn't answer her mail often and grades unfairly and im not very fond of her projects.

I did amazing drawings, amazing improvements and presented in every single class with motivation. This teacher evaluated my work and gave a 60% as my final mark at the end of the semester. Everyone in my life told me I draw well. She replied to my email weeks later + told me that I miss work when I gave her everything. She cannot see the difference between good work from bad. I don't really recommend her as a teacher since she does not do her job well as a teacher and can't appreciate good work.

Not an open-minded teacher, prefers that you do projects her way, very unclear, hardly stays in class, doesn't really know what she's talking about

Great teacher. Knows what she's talking about. Just wish she would give more technique. Actually got me into painting and gave me lots of advice. Very interesting class if you're open-minded.

She's sweet but confusing at times. She changes her mind a lot. Fair marker.
