don't know why not many people like her. She's a very fair marker and person in general and only dislikes those who talk in her class or don't show up to her class
She gets mad and is pretty strict but she does actually teach you things in class and if you pay attention and put effort into your homework (you do need to spend a lot of time on some assignments) you'll do well. She does give difficult tests and assignments sometimes, but most of it is doable.
She is very strict, however I can actually learn something from her.
Best English teacher at UTS. Knows her stuff extremely well. Marks are a bit low though.
excellent teacher who explains concepts very clearly. one of the best english teachers at UTS.
those who gave her bad marks for helpfulness and clarity probably dont know her too well. Out of all my english teachers, she's definitely the teacher i learned from the most.
She's fair, and she knows what she's talking about. A bit grammar-obsessed though. And she can be a bit too strict on students in the hallway.
ok. she is one of the hardest markers i have ever met, but she is nice if you get to know her. she does give harsh criticism, but very constructive.
she's very ..err..blunt/harsh with her criticism...though her criticism is very helpful when improving writing technique
really nice person in the hallway, but she tells people their opinions are wrong
She knows what she's teaching, and likes Monty Python. It's a winning combination.
Not extremely cool or anything, but good teacher, communicates objectives well.
Egad. I like to think my teachers know more than I do about their subject - with Ann, I have my doubts...
i LOVE her. so quirky! could have jumped right out of a robertson davies novel!
