Best math teacher in the school. In grade 8 I didn't really care about my mark and I took his class for granted. In grade 9 I wanted to succeed but had a bad teacher. You only realize how good a teacher he is when you don't have him. I don't think he liked me because I didn't do the homework but he never showed it and he still smiles and says hi to me in the hallways to this day.

He's nice, and is certainly a good teacher but I feel as the years goes on he's slightly getting more and more Impatient with students. So future students, be careful cause this is something I noticed when I had him for grade 8 and then 9.

I enjoyed his teaching of math when I was in grade 9, however, I did find it that every math class was the same- review, go over for the first hours what to do, and then start homework, which is alright, but can lose some students attention pretty quickly. I also did not like how he openly called me a liar once for stating for my reason for being tardy in his class ( I am a student who is quiet, always pays attention in class, and does what I'm supposed to and always listens to the teacher.)

I had Mr Cruickshank back from 91 - 94. At first he reminded me of Mr. Raddish from Degrassi Jr High. I was terrible at math. He tried his best to get me a passing grade though. He is a good teacher, explains things clearly and is very knowledgeable. How many memorized numbers from Pi is he at now?

Definately one of the BEST math teachers I have ever had. He is great at explaining everything, and his in-class notes are so helpful. Even though I re-took math 12 in the summer, I used HIS notes to help me get through it. Best. Math. Teacher. Ever.

A very knowledgeable teacher with many forms of teaching. Taught me a large amount of solutions for a single math problem, explaining which way was faster, which way was easier to understand. A truly remarkable teacher.

Not only the best math teacher i had but the best teacher @ mcroberts. His lessons are extremely clear, he offers help all the time and he is great at one on one help, and his tests are very straight forward and easy if you do ALL the homework questions he gives out. The test question are almost always the homework questions but with different #'s. I went from 80% in grade 11 math to 96% in 12!

AWESOME NOTES! However the classes are a bit boring. And with the desks separated, you can't really talk to anyone in class. Im used to not doing homework when i understand it, so having to do homework every class is annoying too. But overall, great teacher. I understand the materials!

Very nice teacher! Although he could be "bashful" if you irritate him too much lol (rarely occurs). He explains concepts rilil well by using examples from txtbooks. It seems like he memorized all the definitions of the difficult math vocab lol. But it's rilli hard to get a high mark in his class compared to Mr Marr's...like a 93% in Cruikshank's is a 98% in Marr's. BTW....HE IS NED FLANDERS!!!!!

Mr. Cruickshank teachs everything in a quick and concise manner, albeit most of his examples come from the textbook. He gives out plenty of help and does his utmost to ensure his students understand concepts. He's flexible as he gives out a retest and doesn't check homework but for completion. Although many test questions are found in the homework and his examples, so rarely is anything unfamiliar.

Boring at times, but his tests are quite easy and fair. He likes to do math examples that are amusing. I.e. he asks us what is the probabilty of getting 10 sixes if a person rolled 40 dices. He then says, I could use a TI calculator, but that's no fun. Then he actually takes out 40 dices and drops the whole bag on to the floor. I only had him for math 12, but I started with 60% with another math 12 teacher, transfered and ended up getting 95% with Mr. C
