Having Ms. Rine for gr 11 accounting was quite something. At the end of the course, I can say that I had a solid foundation about everything she taught. She does use the older textbook (and she makes you take A LOT of notes from it) but she goes through everything in class afterwards. Tests are very unexpected; I was able to answer everything pretty well except for communication and thinking (those damn articles...) Overall very positive experience. Show interest, dedication and do ALL THE HW!!
hard but for marks but good for class
Ms. Rine may be intimidating from a distance, but, once you get to know her, you'll realize what an amazing personality she has! She's always very enthusiastic about teaching business and does it in a fun way (trust me it's hard to fall asleep in her classes). She often mocks/teases her favorite students quite often, so if she's picking on you, be glad! She's quite a tough marker and her tests are somewhat difficult (as questions and answers are a bit broad) but this will prepare you! RINE FTW!!
One of my favourite teachers and also one of the most hilarious + unique. Just get to know her and try to be friendly with her and joke around with her, and it isn't that difficult to get on her good side. She does have favourites, but usually it isn't reflected in the grades. I know so mahy of her favourites who she did not hesitate to fail when they didn't do well. Very knowledgable, but her tests/exams are crazy hard. (Everyone got around 50-60) on gr 11 exam)
shes a great teacher but shes really loud, if you have her, participate in class and she'll like you, also when she makes fun of you, dont take it personally, she does that to everybody, tips to be successful in her class would be to do your home work, participate and dont be late for class or she will give you a detention, you can also gain rine bucks if you participate, you can buy extensions and get out of detention using them
Such a hard marker
Ms. Rine is a wonderful teacher. She always makes my day in Economics after a terrible period in English class. She never fails to make me smile and she genuinely cares about her students. She calls students' parents whenever the student did well or bad. That shows her sincere passion for teaching and I am so honoured to be her student.
Although her tests may be difficult, she is a very nice and helpful person as long as you do your work! Her class always light up my day! Love Ms. Rine!
very nice lady, I love her lessons!
shes hard, but a great teacher. i know more about economics than i ever thought id know. loved her course.
Ms rine is a very good teacher teacher. Her tests and quizzes can be hard, but as long as you pay attention during her classes, take notes and review them every night, you should be alright! I also enjoy her sense of humour which lit up my mornings.
Ms. Rine Is actually a very good teacher, she challenges you and her test are very hard but work hard! Not every course is going to be easy . Respect her alot, do your homework PAY ATTENTION TO DEADLINE she is NOT a PUSHOVER she will give you a zero if you don't hand things in. Not very understanding but quite entertaining. Spend less time complaining about her and more on work and you will enjoy the classes much more.
It takes a while to get used to her, and you either love her or want to strangle her. She's the hardest marker you will probably ever meet. She has favorites.
She takes awhile to get used to but once you do the class is bearable. Just do your homework and take good notes and you should end up with 85%+ plus she won't bother you as much
Ms. Rine is the best teacher ever!
Her teaching is very clear and very easy to understand. Although her tests are challenging, I still enjoy writing them! The best place to learn is from your mistakes right?
Bose Headphones <3
She's nice if you get on her good side, get to know her better, and work hard as a student. She's funny, nosy, and sarcastic. She is a hard marker and makes tough tests that you can redo by earning "r
she's loud, mean, and rough, but shes a good teacher. she always taught information in a way that we wouldnt memorize it, but be able to understand and apply it to many real life situations
it is definitley very hard to get anything above a 90 in her class (unless youre a really hard worker), but you do actually learn a lot in her class - one of my favourite teachers
Not your typical babysitting teacher but definitely someone passionate about her job unlike some tecaher who look like they hate their lives. She does make your school life interesting...good and bad.
Yea a pretty good teacher. First week may take a little adjusting, but after sticking in her class, you'll grow on her, and you'll start to like her. Cares for her students in ther own"special" way
Not a bad teacher. First impressions......but if you stick around, you'll start to like her. (if you're on her good side that is) if you dont even work hard, she may pick on you, but you'll learn lots
You wont miss her in the library. Studying? Forget it. She loves to pick on people. You're either on her good side, bad side or go completely invisible to her. Her tests and quizes are so tricky.
You'll turn lots from her class. I became a TA in University cuz of her. Her classes were very helpful indeed. Tough but you learn a lot off her.
she loves to give detentions.. she smiles when she gives them.
She's hilarious. Her tests are very tricky, but you do learn a lot in her classes.
she's a decent teacher, but u really gotta work in her class and she always uses negative encouragement, which makes the class laugh most of the time
She may be slightly nuts but she is hilarious. She isn't that hard but she likes to intimidate people into thinking she is.
Lots of sarcasm. Used negative encouragement. Very entertaining. Dedicated...called home to discuss work. Overall i enjoyed her
Rine is a good teacher, she can be a bit annoying, but what the heck, no ones perfect!
She's very funnie, i like her, and i enjoy being in her class~
