I would classify Mr. Al Nesbitt as someone who knows how to learn, not how to teach. He himself is extremely knowledgeable; however, he seems to have a hard time passing on his information to his students in a calm, collected, and HELPFUL way. He seems to always be in a sour mood, and he gets extremely agitated when asked any questions. I am confused as to why he is teaching impressionable grade ten and eleven students, who need GUIDANCE, not USELESSNESS! And his exams are impossible to do.....

great teacher. a lot of people are scared of him but basically, he will treat you how you treat him. if you're rude, he'll be rude, if you're nice, he'll be nice. not an easy marker, but if you study that shouldn't matter

It's controversial whether he's good or bad. If you're reading this because you haven't had him and you're afraid, I have some advice. He can smile, he's not some kind of demon, he actually laughs a lot!! 1)doesn't like wasting time, so don't waste his. 2)Don't ask too many questions, ask what's important. 3)PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT HE SAYS BEFORE A LAB. screwing up isn't fun. 4)treat him with respect, sometimes he hates showing minor mistakes. You're fine, good luck in bio tho!

Being fair and honest he taught me well, even though he marked horribly wrong, gave me marks for places i guessed and knew were wrong and marked my right answers wrong. If he fixes his marking he is a great teacher

I don't understand why people hate on him so much. Ive had mr nesbit for science and yeah sure, he can be a little tough at times, but you just have to get on his good side. if you come to class on time and prepared with your homework done, youll be just fine. hes been teaching for a number of years now and knows what hes doing. he has his moments but hes really chill sometimes, just give him a chance! i ended with a high 90 in his class with no struggle. good luck!

Not bad! Easy to get intimidated by, but gives clear lessons. Even bothers answering questions anyone has in great detail, including simplest things. It all depends on his mood. Overall, a great helpe
