Not a very good teacher and has a weird way of grading
Mrs. Adams was the best French teacher I have ever had. I used to be hopeless at grammar, but after taking her class in grade 9, I understood it much more. She really connects with the class. She will like everyone if the class is generally well behaved, but if not, she probably won't like you. If your class is good, you'll have a great semester with a good learning environment, a great teacher and cake (yes I said cake).
I had her for french in grade 9 and 12. She's one of those teachers who purposefully lowers your mark at mid-term to "encourage students to keep working hard". Overall not terrible at french, and helps students learn in a strict environment, but majorly pissy sometimes.
I am now more confidant speaking French. I was challenged ti improve myself. Adams encouraged me to do the ap exam. Didn't think I could. Got a 5. Not a perfect teacher but really wNts every student to do there best. Less homework.
Sometimes seems like a good teacher until you notice she gets very defensive and salty. A few kids dropped her class after a week of her teaching. Easy marker compared to Cuffley but hard marker compared to Muji. Overall she's tolerable if you want that bilingual certificate bad enough.
She tries to be a stereotypical French teacher but cannot teach French. We learned passe compose every other week, and never anything else. She's the reason I, and many other people dropped that class.
Mme Adams' so quirky! She likes to talk to you about random subjects, like anything. She's really nice and friendly. Sometimes has favourites, but overall she's a great teacher.
Best Immersion french teacher in our school, although M. LaFrance sometimes teaches low lvl immersion...If you have her, consider yourself lucky, it could be much worse.
The most important thing with her was participation. Not fair to the people who have a fear of public speaking. Unfair marks, very strict.
Not great! She could have been much more easier going and much more helpful to all her students. She was quite strict.
She doesn't teach french... It's all about book knowledge...
As a French teacher she was perfectly capable, but she's not a particularly nice person and her marking's not very fair; she seems to give you your mark mostly based on how much you participate.
Nice teacher most important thing in her class: PARTICIPATE
She told us that she loved Trailer Park Boys and had a great Bubbles impression, but never showed it to us. Oh well. She was pretty good otherwise.
She is not clear about what she wants and then she marks too hard. Does not understand that some kids want A`s - according to her you should be happy with a B!
Great teacher! Really care about your students! Sometimes a little too strict, but overall your really fair.
Adams was very inspiring, she had interesting stories and she was cool, I knew she was a good teacher because she gave a damn, you know that if a teacher gets impatient, that she wants the best merci
Just a little jump and intrusive sometimes. She needs to settle down and realise that not everybody learns the same. Favourites seem to be her thing. She needs to see that everybody learns different
Well stay quiet and on her good side, and you'll be fine.
she's pretty cool, i had fun in her class. like everyone else said, KEEP ON HER GOOD SIDE. she really does flip out.
Can assume that students know information, but is pretty clear and nice.
very moody...can be really nice but flips out often...
She will help you if u need it, she explains well...but keep on her good side.
Don't like her...She couldnt care less...And I know she hates me
