Yassaman bashed all the good photos I took, which teachers like Fred absolutely loved. She is into boring photography and will not like a picture of an object she doesn't understand. She is really annoying and doesn't teach you anything that you couldn't learn outside of class. I would not recommend her. You spend ond of her 3 hour classes looking at a slideshow of picture of a grapefruit.

Currently taking her for Digital 2, don't bother. She will destroy your ideas until you follow her idea advice which she will then go back on and not like. Have a question? She will confuse you of what you're trying to do. Definitely the most convoluted and frustrating teacher I've ever had.

Expects WAY too much from a beginner class. If your photo is so much as a little out of focus, she'll give you a bad mark. Seems to forget that not everyone can afford $1000 cameras. Photography fan beware.

Had her in Digital photography, she is very friendly though likes it when you have a clear idea of what you are doing. She is a great teacher

Yassaman is actually a decent person. She cares about everyone and their work. However, if you take her class, I would suggest you be aware that she is VERY critical and marks strictly.
