Very chill guy, but he can be weird sometimes. He knows his physics and is quite clear at explaining stuff, but he's a bit disorganized and RARELY returns your exams.

He doesn't like explaining a subject too much and is a very hard grader. If you don't understand he will just tell you to ask another student.

He was extremely unhelpful to the forensic science/criminology students. He actually said we were a lost cause. Other than that, he was a hard marker and he didn't like reexplaining things.

i think it's time he retired. I had him for sec4 and sec5 physics, and he expects a lot. He should have stayed as a teacher in universities, he's meant for greater things than cegep!

I'm now majoring in Physics, and his Modern Physics class was the best preparation I could have had for that. People who rate him negatively are generally just not meant for sciences.

Hilarious, fun, extremely intelligent. He's a bit hard to follow but loves what he does which is more than I can say for a lot of teachers I've had.

Tests are very similar to assignements. Has over a dozen ways to explain everything, very helpfull if your not understanding something. Hilarious teacher also,

Extremely friendly teacher, although his material is extremely hard. He gives very long and hard tests, therefore understanding his practice sheets! Practice is the key to passing Physics.

If you didn't like this teacher well that means that either science is not for you or your just a lazy bum. Bill will make you work hard but he will do all he can to make the course interesting.

Dr. William O'leary O'leary made me realise engineering/health is not my field and i switches to business, my success is due to him failing me, if it happens its meant to be...it doesnt get easier

The tests seem hard and too long at first, but practice lots like he tells you to do (aka UNDERSTAND every sheet he gives you) and calm yourself down on the tests. Extremely nice.

Good teacher, but you have to be responsible for yourself. He doesn't force you to work, so you need to motivate yourself to work (otherwise you fail as tests are hard!)

Sure, O'Leary is a tough teacher, but now, 14 years later, I look back and recognize that he laid a very strong foundation for my future learning. No one forgets a good teacher.
