He really wasn't a good teacher. I had him for civics and he really didn't do much as far as helping students. He made me hate civics more than I already did.
This man is my idol. He is the reason that I switched into IB History; plain and simple. Mr. Pagan makes history an enjoyable class and I would like to thank him for being such a great teacher and man in general.
One of the best teachers I have ever had!!!
This man is amazing! BY FAR the best teacher I have had to date!! IB exams are really hard but it is just a matter of studying. STAY COOL PAGAN!
I had Mr. Pagan for IB History, and I love him! He is hilarious, makes class entertaining by making jokes, puns and teases people. I barely did any work in that class, and yet I still remembered everything I needed for the exam.. Although he did teach us about Castro on the day of the exam..
I had Mr. Pagan four times, in effect - two semesters for IB history and then law in both 11 and 12. He's a brilliant teacher to make you learn and it's much easier to stay engaged in his classes than
The old-man sweaters, the mysterious disappearances to the "copy room," his board notes, his actually beautiful penmanship...gotta love this man. So intelligent and snarky too.
I've had him for about 4 courses, and it's easy enough to get good marks... just put the time in for studying and you're fine.
Sooo chill. I actually love his class, he makes all the material interesting. His test format is difficult but just study and know your stuff.
I'm in his law class this year, and he's definitely one of my fave teachers ever. Fair marker, makes the potentially boring material engaging and interesting. He's also totally chill.
I have never learned so much, while doing so little! History was actually fun!!
Although it didn't seem like we did much, I learned so much. He really drilled the material into our heads.
I heart Mr. Pagan!! One of the best teachers ever! You rock! ;-)
I just had Mr. Pagan for law class this year, and I have to say, what a great teacher. Most of his classes were enjoyable, fair marker, good teacher all around! His dog Cosmo is also really cool!
Knows what he's talking about, and knows how to deal with slackers
Easily one of the best teachers I've ever had. I hated history before, but he made it interesting and funny, and I learned a lot. Fair marker and knows a lot about his own subject. Best ever.
Mr. Pagan is an awesome teacher. There's nothing more to say.
Mr. Pagan was a good Law teacher, whenever he talked to the class, I wanted to listen to what he was saying. Also, a great sense of humour, which made the class fun. I just didn't feel as if we did enough work in the class. We had the big essay to write, but besides that, maybe two small assignments to complete. It was a pretty easy course.
Favourite teacher by far. Incredibly engaging, fair, smart, and just overall an amazing teacher.
Excellent teacher! He is a fair marker. You will learn a lot in his class. He is honest and does not play favoritism
In IB history his tests are the things nightmares are made of. No joke first time i have ever struggled to maintain an 80. It's good in a way. He is very tolerable, and loves to bash USA. GO MR. PAGAN!
The two potentially most boring classes (law and history) were made very interesting and, occasionally funny, by Mr. Pagan, who I can honestly say is one of the most amazing teachers I had at Lo-Ellen (the other being Mrs. Ames). He also manages, somehow, to be a total fox. You go, Mr. Pagan :)
he makes the students to mark their peers' tests. It's so humiliating!
Pagan is my favourite teacher. He probably hates me, but he's one of those teachers that you'll always remember and who have positevely changed your life. He's justa smart guy who likes the environment and leaf drives.
GREAT TEACHER, ALOT OF SPARES, LOVES THE CLASS, GIVES ME GOOD MARKS
I took OAC English from you and I really enjoyed it!
When I had him he missed like EVERY Monday (not that I'm complaining) and did other odd stuff. But he was SUCH a good teacher, and he always seemed so HAPPY!
It's funny cause he leaves the classroom to 'photocopy' and comes back with the same page he left with. When we ask why he didn't 'photocopy' he says "oh yeah.
