I had her for 2 years in high school. The first time I had her she was OK. But the second time I had her was absolutely horrible. I believe she based our marks on maybe 1 writing piece and like 10 grammar quizzes(she didn't teach us any grammar to prepare for the quizzes). I also think we spent around 6 months of the school year on Hamlet...It was an absolute joke. The only reason I got a good mark was because I did well on the provincial exam.
the worst teacher I've ever had in my life. doesn't teach, always messy, suddenly screams, and the worst thing is... she is really really mean!! she is that kind of teacher who on one day tells you that you are doing great job, and on the other day gives you back a failed paper!
nice on good days but most days is extremely crabby....very vague on instructions and very lax with assignment deadlines which doesn't fuel students to do the actual work, takes decades to hand back work and even at times loses students' work......basically you do absolutely nothing all year besides silent read for the majority of every class.. but a nice person in general just doesn't know how to teach properly
good person but the worst teacher ever bases mark on two or three assignments per term and doesn't let the students know what they're getting until they receive their report card
Your grade is decided based on her first impressions of you; good students will excel while poor students crumble. She needs to retire as she is incredibly disorganized and says things she should not.
really nice teacher.... but you don't learn anything from her class.. doesn't prepare you for any exams/tests..rarely any marks for the term
I love ms inglis, but she messed up my english mark, entered the wrong mark, and kept forgetting to correct it, because of this little memory problem, i wasnt able to attend UBC....i have to now wait till next year..NOT COOL
really nice person... but havent learned anything from her, since she spends an hour doing other things instead of teaching
I have Ms.Inglis for english this year...she's okay, but not as good as my teacher from last year. She's really nice but get's off track sometimes.
i love ms. inglis! she was an awesome teacher and i had a lot of fun learning from her.
She is very lazy and bad at teaching. For example: she spends half hour of the class time to go to the printing room.
well she is a nice person but not the greatest teacher...i cant hear her properly from the back and her instructions are not clear... boring classes but gives us a lotta reading time
nice but lacks personality. i like teachers with a little more flare... like Mr Usselman, for instance.... well, maybe not that much flare ahaha.
seems stressed, little personality, but nice to students most of the time.
Very understanding, you can tell when she is stressed though. Tests are at perfect difficulty level.
Not very organize, but really nice and understanding. Quite forgetful at times too.
A very nice woman. Tries to be helpful in any situation.
OMG...she knows everything there is to know about English. She really helped me a lot.
I think she's pretty nice (her quizzes are quite easy) doesn't really check hwk, but there might b lots of work to do
she was pretty cool. i liked that she was the same person in and outside of the classroom. She prepared me well for the exam.
Blows up at class for no reason sometimes. Doesn't prepare students very well either.
very detailed essay questions, short preparation time
