He is a really good teacher. Very passionate about anthropology. He's super easy: you have everything to prepare for the exams. Do the readings, their actually interesting. If you participate and ask questions about the chapter, he will love you. He's great!

Steve is an awsome teacher, he loves what he does and its clear for everyone to see. He is hilarious and upfront about everything. You need to want to pass, meaning you have to do the required work! He is simply one of the best teachers i have ever had.

[Intro to Anthropology]- Steve is a very passionate and intelligent teacher. You'll learn a lot from his class and there will be many laughs. He manages to crack the most random/funny jokes. He shows A LOT of movies, if you're tired, they can be hard to sit through, but they connect with teh topic and help you understand. DO THE READINGS! and ask him questions about it. There are many quizzes, a book review on an anthro related book and two tests. Awesome class, Steve knows so much.

Well, you're gonna have to read the stuff, because if you don't you'll fail. He is pretty cool though, maybe a bit over the hill but can still teach a class.

I've taken three Classes with Steve and I've always enjoyed his sense of humor and his passion for his subjects. You really have to read the material if you want to pass however, I've consistantly done bad in his class due to this, ah well, great teacher anyway.

He is an amazing teacher!I love his sense of humor and he is there to help his students, his tests are easy if u study the fake test that he gives u out, there is 50 multiple choices & 4 essays ? & in the real exam,it will be 24 mc & 2 essays ?.You can't pass the course if you don't read! You have to read all his chapters that he asks,I think that it was a lot of pages to read, but you have to learn by yourself cuz steve teaches just what we ask that we didn't understand.I recommend him

His tests are fair, as he hands out the questions beforehand. However, you must learn the material yourself, he'll hold your hand and explain what the stuff means but you have to first find out what you don't know. His lectures generally give an interesting perspective on the topics, however their relevancy on the tests are questionable. If you do read the assigned literature, the tests are simple enough. He's very helpful and will try to accomodate you as long as you make the effort to connect.
