I got a really good grade but I worked hard for it. He's too vague and rambles sometimes for whole periods about nothing that has anything to do with what you're supposed to be talking about. Or he wi

Stephen's class is about reading and analyzing the material. If you truly enjoy reading you will love his class. However, if you are expecting an energetic lecture, perhaps this class is not for you.

I had him for best of the bestsellers and i can honestly say that I walked out of that class not learning a single thing. Complete waste of anyone's time.

will have a boring class but describe what he want exactly and if you follow his instructions, u will get 90. Also very easy marker.

Worst teacher ever. He is ridiculously unhelpful and rants and rambles about nothing of importance the whole two hours. NEVER take his class.

This class was definitely the worst english class I have taken so far at John Abbott. The teacher is boring, the course material is boring and you won't actually learn anything. Avoid this class!

I took '' the best of the bestseller '' and I thought it would be horrible because he seems boring. However it wasn't that bad! Easy to get good grades and he just speaks and speaks

Not a good choice, and very very boring. I went to class and just read the book (so i didnt have read out of class for homework) and didnt pay attention and that was it. Though he is very helpful if you go and see him for help. Hard and unfair marker too. Make sure u know what a "crisis" is. I did like the reading material though (Enders Game, King Solomon's Mines).

He rambles on these long pointless lectures, that make no sense. Really long like the whole 2 hours long. If you must take him my advice is to bring crosswords or suduko to class. he once spent the whole class explaining what plot was by describing the entire plot in detail of King Kong.

Took him for best of the best sellers, very interessting books if you are into fiction but his lectures can get long. While he seems strange if you go see him he is very helpful and will tell you exactly what you need to do to improve.

He's not an easy marker-he grades everything the way HE wants to and he's really boring. He'll help you if you ask him too, but you could get someone better then him. -last resort

A very strange man, but the class is decent and somewhat entertaining. Reading material is good, and he grades pretty easily, as long as you do the work.

OK teacher, he's very disorganised. Takes attendance (15% participation). Barely any homework until the last 2 weeks.

He's a very hard marker, if you don't write enough words in an essay he will fail you. He is kind of weird though and funny.

Steve Luxton is one of the best teachers I have ever had. The man is both highly intelligent, and also very provocative. A must for bored students looking for a unique teacher who may be a little unorthodox, but is definately intriging.
