Not a great teacher, but a very caring and respectable man, you have to love him.
This guy had absolutely NO IDEA how to teach, let alone take on two subjects. Whoever gets him as a teacher, expect a 0 on next year's social exam. I hope you never get him.
Nice guy, but terrible teacher. My final with him was watching the Lion King.
Supposedly, he teaches ELA and Social Studies, but in fact, he only teaches Social Studies in the rare few times he actually teaches. Assigns too many projects; 95% of which doesn't get marked and "doesn't believe in tests".
Lol didn't hand things in and ended the year with a 97
I have him this year... We have had one test and we watch tons of movies. He doesn't really teach and he hands out two projects a week. If you don't like relaxed teachers, you'd hate him. He's pretty chill. He's alright. But since we have Humanities (social and Ela) he should teach social AND Ela. But nope. He only teaches social and gives the same grade aa social on the report card
Mr. Ditchburn is the chillest social teacher ever. I like his personality but his teaching style is meh. To be fair, he's funny, an easy marker, reasonably organized, and somewhat helpful if asked; but he doesn't really teach. He plays a movie every week and we've had one test the whole year.
Well Mr. Ditchburn was a really nice guy, although he seems a bit lonely. Never less, he marks a bit easy and is not clear on assignments. Just don't get on his bad side, if you do, don't say I didn't warn you, you will get bad marks and blah, blah, blah. Just try and be nice to him!
The worst thing about Mr. Ditchburn is that he doesn't teach at all. He gives us a lot of assignments as his mode of "teaching," and because I can't learn from those assignments at all, I get really bad marks. Mr. Ditchburn doesn't know us that well, and we don't know him that well either. Oh well, at least he lets us watch movies sometimes.
i had him for social studies 10 and he did absolutely nothing. we did around 20 projects and had one test all year. hes lazy and doesnt want to teach, so all he does is watch movies. i hope you never have him
Mr. Ditchburn was one of the worst teachers I've had in my life. He did not teach a single time the entire year, and gave way too much homework, which he only marked approximately 5% of. Sometimes he was too easy. He played favorites which made it simple to achieve high marks. He is extremely lazy, and I did not learn a single thing from him this year.
At first I thought Mr. Ditchburn was sort of annoying, but he is actually a really nice guy. I'm not in his class anymore but I really want to be. Mr. Ditchburn actually helped when it came to finals and mid -terms unlike some other teachers. In the end of the year I had a 98 average in hum. He's actually a pretty good teacher once you get to know him and he is a really nice and easygoing guy.
Very weird teacher. Not clear at all with assignments, and while he offers advice sometimes, it makes no sense.
Not an Amazing Teacher and his class is kind of Boring. vdfdf
He's pretty nice, but sometimes not clear when answering questions.
He does not know how to answer questions... he gives you some random answer, making you more unclear than you were before you asked him!
He's entertaining, but his teaching is under par. He's an easy marker, however. He is usually very unspesific with his expectations though, leading to misunderstandings and low-marked projects.
I've never actually had Mr. Ditchburn, but he and Mr. Perfect would do tons of stuff together, so I'd hang in his class. He's actually REALLY nice, super funny, but isn't aware that the kids in his class don't listen to him. But if you listen to him, he tells like the funniest stuff ever. One time, he told me how he got stopped by the police when he was like, 20, lol.
Absolutely hilarious. Don't be too quick to judge him.
Sometimes difficult to understand. Usually doesn't really teach, leaves it up to movies, handouts, or presentations. Seems to mark depending on mood swings.
If you're a nice little worker peon, he treats you semi-nicely. If you do one thing wrong - and it isn't always your fault - he treats you like an idiot. That's simply not fair.
He doesn't read your work sometimes, but gives you a mark anyways based on his impression. I once watched him grade my project in the library, from afar, and it took him about 30 seconds. Not pleased.
Ditchburn is THE MAN, sure its impossible to communicate with him, but do what he says and your destined for greatness meaning crazy easy marks
When I first saw him he seemed kind of sleepy and boring, but he ends up being a good teacher and a pretty cool guy.
I dislike him, he sounds like he's going to fall asleep and it's extremely hard to listen to him. You miss quite a few details when he talks. Seems mean and strict.
I think D-burn is cool. And he doesnt get made when I dont pay attention to the movies he shows us. Which is awesome
Argh. He's supposed to be teaching social studies AND language arts, but all he teaches is social. He's a bad teacher because he's very disrespectful towards students.
Ditchburn is hard to understand and he is always changing around the due dates. when youre a good student tho, he is super easy to please. he likes colour. lol
bad teacher.. he doesn't tell when things are due, he doesn't explain things, and he's really unfair...
