Where do I start... I had her as a spanish teacher in grade 9. She is definitely a kind person, but the bad outweighs the good. BY FAR. She would promise extra credit points that she would never award, she clearly had favorites, she made it very clear who was doing bad in her class. She told a guy he was failing in front of our class... Probably because of her EXTREME incompetency as a teacher, mainly caused by lack of intelligence and disorganization. She had good intentions, though.
I really liked her in grade 9, but by grade 10 it was clear who her favourites were. My mark fell, by like 15%...And she will pick on you if she doesn't think your listening of whatever. I have been called out several times simply for taking out my laptop to write notes. Otherwise, the class is pretty easy. Sometimes class can actually be fun (Fun Fridays!)
Zapata was my careers teacher for some reason. Unlike many, I have no problem with her english. However, she picked very blatant favourites who had an obvious advantage (average projects getting high 90s) and did not allow for much creativity.
Yeah I could not understand a single thing this woman said in English or Spanish and she's kind of clueless.
She is one of the best (if not the best) teachers EVER.Señora Zapata es un ser humano maravilloso, y es una de las mejores personas a la vez. Yo no entiendo por qué algunos ca estudiantes no les gusta su
Alright, so if you are enthusiastic about spanish, she'll adore you. but she thinks im stupid, even though i get 90s in all my other classes. i found spanish very hard to get good marks in because she is very technical on tests. for example, i used a definitive article instead of indefinite, and i got the entire question wrong, about 8 marks. she's a very fun teacher, and explains things pretty well. there is a bit of a language barrior when you ask her a question, she doesnt answer it directly.
Senora Zapta is a great Spanish teacher! I will never forget field trips and celebrations. Lots of fun!
Thoughtful and helpful senora Zapata provides a great language and cultural experience! I'll never forget our trip to Spain...unforgeatable !
nice person, decent enough teacher, hard to understand. pretty easy, refreshingly gullible ;)
La mejora profesora! If you care, and you put some effort and enthusiasm into it, then maybe you'd get something out of it. Honestly, I came out of that program with a second year university credit!
yea she gave me a hard time for not wanting to participate. i always found her a bit on the dumb side so it made it her class kind of unbearable at times. nothing really good to say bout her 2b honest
Zapata is the best teacher! As long as ur enthusiastic in class she loves you!
err..yeah she promises parties every month..yeah we only had liike 3. gosh. gets really annoying. sorry guys. HOLA no me gusta la clase de espanol.
never have to do your homework, talk with an accent, slack off, do other homework and she congratulates you because she thinks you're takeing notes. Slacker class.
It starts out fun but you end hating the class. The class gets so boring...
best teacher ever, if you guys want someone to speak good english, why don't you teach, she's a native spanish speaker, you should feel proud you have her!
WE DON'T LEARN THE THINGS AND THEN YOU GIVE US TEST?! IF THIS IS AN INDEPENDENT-STUDY COURSE, THEN WHY DO YOU GET PAID?IF I MISS CLASS CUZ THE FLU IM SKIPPING?!
maybe u shud learn english and stop saying ssssssssssssss instead of shhhhhhhhhhhh
On PA: "Iz Senora Zepata shpeakingora. Meora hava speciala announcamanta!" You speaking Spanglish?
Cut her some slack, people; she's not that bad. If you'd ever just shut up, pay attention, and do your homework you'd learn stuff in her class too!
She says we're supposed to be teachin ourselves. Why is she gettin paid, then
Gives hw and doesnt explain. English skills affect her as a core spanish teacher
