01/14/14 - Oh boy, so some of these reviews are confusing.. Although she is very knowledgeable she is also a bit annoying. She assigns journals for every class, and she is very picky about grammar. She sent someone i know to the dean without even consulting them or warning them. She definitely has favourites. Her exams are easy and she gives you the outline. Take notes in class, and pay attention and you will succeed. Show More Show Less
06/16/13 - I had her for world religions and she was an amazing teacher. Their are a bunch of little assignments and if you do them all it is an easy 15%. You do need to do the work but it is an easy class i got a 76% but I did hand in a lot of assignments late, and I was able to bring up my grade from a 50 to a 76% in a couple of weeks. She is a teacher that you can always go to, and she tries to make the class really fun. Show More Show Less
12/10/12 - I thought that she would be a bad teacher with all those ratings..but no : she is a very nice and happy teacher, always want to learn more. She knows the class material very well. Interesting class but the way she grades is indeed a mystery. If you do the work, you will pass with a low 80 Show More Show Less
Interesting Intro class. But she rushes through the information and you hardly learn anything worth noting. Lacks the interesting part of religion, with all its mystery. She tends to just regurgitate what she already knows. As do most teachers unfortunately.
Though she makes an effort to make the class experience as easy and interesting as possible. Truly a nice and happy women, very fair marker.
This can be said about most teachers - I guess education isn't as great as it could be... Show More Show Less
03/21/12 - I had her in RM. Sonia's assignments were short and simple; she wanted you to take baby steps and each step she made sure you took perfectly. This way we had a great idea about research methods in the end. When it came to presentations she kept them short which was good for shy students. Show More Show Less
