I have mr.smith for grade 11 Chem and LOVE his class. Explains everything. Yes he likes to tell corny jokes but it's funny. If you actually try in his class you will do well. I hated chemistry before him
Truly an inspiration for any student. Gave me the encouragement and the discipline needed in university and in life.
"suroach, you just lied to me...go sweep the shop" lol he was hard but fair if you took the class seriously.
Do not take his class if you do not expect to do work. On the other hand, if your down to actually learn something about a engine and do hands on work i guarantee you will learn alot.
I think Mr. Smith has some problems, he always caters to the gifted, he does not help you when you need help, and he follows the administration rules religiously. He is not funny, he has the mentality of a child, and you are taught in the same matter that a child would teach. One of the worst teachers at Sinclair
Excellent Auto teacher. Demanded respect, but would work with you if you made an effort. Expected hard work from me but I liked the subject, so was a no brainer. Great hands on experience for a future engineering student like me. One of only a few teachers I liked and respected during the Double Cohort years. Too bad I had to go to private to succeed in spite of the rest of this School.
wow, all of you dont know what you're talking about..Mr. Smith is one of the best teachers at sinclair, he doesnt pick favourites and he's not arrogant, i dont know what you guys are talking about. He'll always take time to explain things twice and even help you out even if you're not in his class, other teachers should be taking notes from the way smith teaches, and maybe sinclair would be a better school..keep up the good work smitty
Mr. Smith picks favourites. If he doesn't like you, you're screwed. He makes no effort to explain anything twice if you struggle with something, and his lessons are boring. If you correct him he will go to any length to get you back. WORST TEACHER EVER!
Obviously every one hear who gave Mr. Smith props is a giftie because realy and truly he only caters to your interests. Mr. Smith was a soft teacher if you were struggling he never asked what was wrong, He only cared about rushing through lessons and ms O
Mr. Smith is always joking, but DON'T get on his bad side. His teaching style (letting you figure it out by yourself without saying a word even when you don't have a clue what to do) can be tough at times, but it really makes you learn. Different...
had him in Gr. 12... slept through the whole thing... still in engineering chemistry... don't know what that says about him, but it was interesting enough
His teaching abilities weren't very good at all. I really don't like how he simply gave us homework to do, and the next day asked if we had questions... maybe you should teach us sometime. Maybe then we could reach the "full potential" you supposedly want
Mr smith is an awesome teacher because of the way he cares for the students. His teachings in chemistry really prepared me for university. I'm really happy to have had Mr. Smith as a teacher. =)
Mr. Smith Is my hero man. Not only does he have great stories but he is a great teacher. I am currently in his class and yes I am a chick and he treats us fairl
He treats the class like a bunch of 10 year olds, but it worked out for the best. I got a good mark from him.
lol some of those robotics conversations are great lol
he made chemistry hard for me.. but overall he was a great teacher. and what's with the red face 24/7... lol
Great Chem teacher, very funny, gets embarassed easily
